Nice house, a few issues…

Nice condo on a quiet corner. Neighborhood is flat & nice to walk. Very clean community. Note: the condo walls are very thin between the MB & living room. MB only has lamps, no overhead lighting & no tv. Concerns: MB shower had hairs in it, so we had to clean it. Furniture, comforters & appliances are showing wear. Other than the above, it’s a relaxing place w/plenty of room for 8 adults.

Golf Getaway

House is in pretty good shape and you'll be comfortable. However, the linens and towels being an additonal cost is a ripoff, and don't expect to find any paper towels, TP, dish soap or garbage bags. You get none of those small conveniences included.

Bare Trap Stays

Had some issues with this home. There is an ant issue on the counters in the kitchen and mostly the first floor. Couldn't put anything on the counters! The ants were everywhere!! There was "No" TV in the master bedroom! The air conditioning could not be changed. We even turned it off but it was still cold. It was freezing on the first floor, especially the MB. Stayed on the second floor. The garage door did not open. I have pictures of the "pulley" etc.if needed. It was obvious that the garage opener had been "jury rigged" to work but didn't! Have stayed at Bare Trap for the last 4 years and have been very pleased with the homes but will not stay at this home again 201 October Glory.

Great location! Group comprised of 7 ladies. Golfing was the main reason for the trip. Also enjoyed the convenience of Bethany Beach. Excellent restaurants! Property itself could use a deep cleaning. Challenging with 4 ladies using the jack and jill bathroom. Fortunately had friends who owned a beach house and 3 of the ladies stayed in their beach house.

Great family neighborhood close to the beach. Lots of amenities -- golf, pool, fitness center and tennis! Left some personal belongings at the property when we departed and the property manager stood on her head to get them back to us. Amazing service!

Really nice with screened in porch. Nice roomy house. Close to shuttle stop 5. Only down side previous renter left dirty linens on front porch. The 2 bags were there all week no one picked them up.

Wonderful Resort Community

Bare Trap Dunes is a wonderful resort community. This rental home was conveniently located. We loved the space and layout of the home and we especially liked the screen-in porch which was shaded and comfortable even on very hot days. We were disappointed with the furnishings and decor. It looked like the furniture and decor all came from thrift or second hand stores. The mattresses on all the beds were very uncomfortable. The sofas were also uncomfortable. We expected nicer furnishings and decor in a unit in a high end community like Bear Trap Dunes. On a positive note the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for meal preparation. We would definitely stay again in the Bear Trap Dunes community, but would not stay in this unit again.

Good, but needs some TLC

Overall, we had a positive experience and stay. There was plenty of furniture and room setup worked well too. A few more dishes in the kitchen would be nice as we found ourselves frequently running out of glasses and bowls during the day (so ended up running the dishwasher twice a day for a family of 4). While there were no major issues with this property, there were a few upkeep items (a ripped screen door on the screen porch, upstairs shower that wouldn't drain, and an ant issue in the kitchen) that kept us from rating this higher. We've stayed in other townhome units in the Bear Trap Dunes community in years past and have not experienced these inconveniences. Again, not major issues, just the little things like not being able to sit on the screen porch without the nuisance of mosquitos (a family favorite while on vacation!)
