Relaxing Stay

The villa was very clean and very comfortable. We stayed for 2 weeks and felt at home. The community is beautiful as well. We loved watching sunsets at the bay and using all the amenities. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home

Loved our stay in bay forest. Beautiful home to accommodate 7 of us. Comfortable beds. Beautifully decorated. Fantastic pool. Great neighborhood and walking paths.

Great community

We enjoyed our stay in Bay Forest - the townhome was spacious and well equipped. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the walking trails, pools and the access to the bay. The shuttle to the beach was convenient but also just a short drive to the Bethany boardwalk. The 2 car garage also came in handy and there was convenient extra parking for guests.

Loved it!

Very well stocked house, very clean and we loved the Bay Forest development. It’s off season but we were able to park at Bethany Beach with no problem and enjoy the ocean! The owner and property manager were easy to communicate with and we had no complaints with the house. Next year we want to come before Labor Day so we can enjoy all of the Bay Forest amenities.

Great location

We appreciate the location of this rental as well as the amenities within the community. The home was spacious and clean but well loved. The 2nd floor did not cool down as well as the first and had a considerable temperature difference at nice. We also would have appreciated some type of compact drying rack or clothes pins/line in the laundry room for when we did laundry for a large family during the week. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and had a good experience!

Great Choice

We love staying in the Bay Forest community when we vacation in the Bethany Beach area of Delaware. Do yourself a favor and seriously consider renting this rental property. It was a very spacious 4 bedroom house with great kitchen and 3 different living/family room locations to give you plenty of room to spread out if you are a larger group staying there. The house is well stocked with beach and recreational gear (ex bikes, beach chairs, fishing rods, boogie board, etc) . We will definitely consider this property for any future trips to the area.

Enjoyed The House

Overall, very happy with our stay here. There were a few unexpected things that were really good, and a few things that could use improvement and they offset each other. This is a great location for families with multiple children of all ages Amenities that were better than expected: - extras for kids (step stools, kids plates/bowls/cups) - amenities within the establishment (two pools - one little water park/lazy river made one day for older kids. younger kids enjoyed the shallow pool that made it easier for watching) - add-on free items such as wine tasting, round of golf, splash mountain park (we did wine tasting) - weber grill and new patio furniture were nice touch - big house with 3 separate living room areas, which allowed kids on opposite side of house than parents) If I had to offer feedback to make this 5+ review, here are few minor items that could use improvement: - ceiling fans (even on high, they did not move as much air in the 90+ degree days we had) - our bed had a memory foam topper which was very thick and tough to get out of, and we're in our mid 30s. - there were a lot of light switches in this house but with several of them - we didn't know what that controlled Overall, we were very happy with our stay at this house.

Nice complex

Enjoyed our time here-but unit needs a little TLC (issues with fridge, dryer, electricity in 2 rooms). Wound up spending valuable vacation time to assist repairman twice. Carpet stained and furniture was definitely “lived in.” We’ve stayed at other Bay Forest properties and this unit was by far the least updated. I’m not sure the photos reflect the current state of the property.
