A Great Place to Stay!

Our family of nine, ages 4-74, stayed in this lovely 2 story home for a week. We were thankful for the off street parking for 3 large vehicles. We cooked most of our meals in the well stocked, updated kitchen. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were very clean. We spent hours on the large deck with a view. Also, the cool ocean breezes kept us comfortable. We rarely used the air conditioning.

Oceanside getaway

Spring break 2024

The property is great, beds are comfy shower and amenities are wonderful. Couldn’t really ask for a better location for two grandpas, grandkids and parents to all have what they need.

Perfect family vacation house

The house was perfect for our family and friends. Very clean and great communication with the hosts. The location was great, right between san diego and Anaheim for attractions. The kids loved that we were walking distance from the beach. Definitely would stay again.

A beautiful place. Truly special. And a much needed retreat.

My husband, and our daughter and her husband were lucky to have picked this wonderful beach rental. The house was extremely clean ( which is greatly appreciated in a beach rental. Furnishings were lovely and comfortable. We walked to great dining, and shopping. The beach is clean and not crowded. And Diane was such a wonderful host. It really was a perfect stay.

Outstanding!

The home is beautifully appointed and well equipped with everything you need. It was such an easy walk to the beach and the owners were wonderful with suggestions for restaurants and shopping. Their communication and follow up was always timely. Photos were very accurate. Can't wait to stay there again!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time and the house was lovely with everything we needed. There were nine of us, four adults and five teen boys and there was adequate room for all of us. Diane was a terrific host and Oceanside is a cute community. We hope to return again one day!

2025 Girls Weekend Oceanside

It was perfect. There were a few things - there was a very unpleasant odor in the garage, there were no extra plastic bags, and no extra towels in one upstairs bathroom. Thos3 are such little things compared to how wonderful the house is.

Thanksgiving in Oceanside

We spent Thanksgiving week with our family of 8. We were close to the beach and enjoyed beautiful sunsets, beach walks and surfing. The home was comfortable and beautifully appointed and met our every need. We were greeted with a wonderful bowl of snacks and wine which disappeared instantly after a long day of travel!

Incredible

We stayed for 4 nights over our Spring Break - 2 families - 4 adults, 2 teens, and 3 smaller kiddos. The place was INCREDIBLE! Location was unreal - just off the water. I can’t tell you how peaceful it was to be able to crack the bedroom window a bit and hear the waves. Location is walking distance from the harbor and downtown area. Great local restaurants, including coffee shops, breakfast joints, and some wonderful higher-end places as well. Oceanside was a peaceful respite between our “busier” days in San Diego, LA, and at Disneyland. Overall, we couldn’t have been more impressed. Diane and her staff were responsive and kind. Will DEFINITELY stay here again.

Wonderful Stay with the Family!

Review We had a great experience at this house! It was very clean (especially for a beach house!) and stylish. The owners are kind and responsive. The private balcony is amazing! We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return! Our crew had a baby, multiple kids/teens, and adults and it was very comfortable for all of us. Upstairs has two bedrooms: one master with a bathroom, and a kids room with bunk beds and bathroom. Downstairs has two bedrooms, one bathroom. This is also where the kitchen and living area are, which lead to a private balcony overlooking the ocean. It had a lot of amenities like a pack n play, stroller, high chair, boogie boards, bicycles, and two sets of washers/dryers. If you have a very large vehicle, you may not fit into the garage. You can park in the driveway, however the driveway has a public sidewalk that goes through it which cannot be blocked. We had a 12-passenger van and could make it work! You can get to the beach through a private stair path through the property, which takes just a 2-3 minutes. Or you can walk along the main road, which is longer but easier if you bring a lot of stuff to the beach. Overall, it was a great experience! This was our third beach house in the area and it was the cleanest and most updated! Thanks again!

Perfect Stay

We have 5 kids and did a week in California… Stayed the first few days closer to LA so we could take in some of the sites there, and then wanted to do a few days at a beach house close to the ocean! I searched from San Diego to Ventura in an effort to find something that was aesthetically pleasing, close enough to the water so you could see it, and also offered other opportunity like restaurants and bars in a cute area to explore… And wanted to do all of that finding good value. Well, Diane and Mike’s home really helped me to hit on all cylinders. The views from the deck are absolutely beautiful, the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the home was perfect, an the availability to walk 10 minutes and have an array of restaurants, coffee shops, and the pier was perfect. Our kids range between 9 and 12… And we felt comfortable letting them go for walks on their own, and even making their way down to the beach by themselves. While a small row of homes sit lower than this property between the property and the beach, you can’t beat the view of the ocean, the palm trees, and quite frankly your family on the sand in front of you. As far as the hosts, you won’t find many much better than Diane and Mike. In our 5 days there, there was one small issue, which they communicated to me before I brought it to their attention… And it was fixed shortly there after. There’s nothing better than a proactive host! This is a great property in a great location with great hosts!

Absolutely Perfect for our Annual Girls Trip!

Our group was 7 ladies celebrating our 29th!/maybe 30th?! annual girls trip, and this home was just beautiful and worked wonderfully for us. We all loved the house, especially the view of the ocean and proximity to the ocean (not 'right on' the beach with no privacy, but 1 street across was ideal). Pros: very nice owners, location, parking spots! (more on that later), beautifully and comfortably decorated, great beds, well-stocked and good sized kitchen with nice big breakfast bar, well-stocked towels/linens, lovely patio, and again a great location for going on walks alongside or on the beach in either direction, plus plenty of restaurants etc. nearby if you want to go out. No actual Cons - just a couple things that might be helpful for prospective tenants to note: Re: parking, the 2 outdoor spots can accommodate larger/longer vehicles (such as SUVs), but to park inside the garage, the vehicle(s) need to be on smaller/shorter side to fit. Re: dining table options, the largest and only dining table is on the outdoor patio (which is lovely), and only the large breakfast bar inside is for indoor dining; I mention this because I was slightly nervous when booking about not having an actual dining table indoors in case it was too cold outside, etc., but actually(!) it ended up NOT being an issue at all! The weather was nice and we had plenty of room indoors to eat at the breakfast bar and play games on the coffee table, too! Thank you so much again to Diane and Mike!!

Incredible host

I can not say enough great things about the hosts Diane and Mike. Excellent communication and very attentive before and during our stay. This property is in a great location. So close to everything you would want to do or need for a visit. We were there for 6 weeks and appreciated all the little things that were available to us at the house. Great home for families with kiddos and also for adults. The view from the deck was the best. We spent so much time just watching and listening to the ocean. Great outdoor space for large family dinners. This home gave our entire family the space to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Home away from home

Absolutely perfect! We were in from across the country for our son’s wedding and we all were comfortable and the views from the bedrooms and the deck were just spectacular! The kitchen has everything you need, the beds were all comfortable, the bathrooms had what you needed as well and the deck was like another living space with furniture and the umbrellas. I can’t wait to go back
