Checking in was easy and location was ideal for access to access to many trails. The accommodations were very roomy and comfortable with eat in kitchens to prepare your own meals. Great value for the money.

Compact living, but clean and nice. They were renovating the bathrooms at the time so men and women shared which I am not fond of but still it went well and it was well taken care of. Will definitely come back to this beautiful area and stay at the camping site....

캐빈에 머물렀는데 시설이 너무 좋지 않았어요. 가격 대비 시설도 좋지 않았고 전망도 좋지 않았습니다. 호수 주변에는 텐트만 칠 수 있고 캐빈은 전망도 좋지 않은 곳에 있어서 아쉬웠어요. 하지만 직원들은 매우 친절했습니다.

Very easy check-in. Perfect place to stay if you’re looking for an affordable (for Norway) option that is clean and offers a quiet place to relax between hikes. The shower water pressure is fantastic.

We really enjoyed the standard cabin for two. We traveled internationally and the cabin was equipped with everything we would need. We hiked Baurbreen and Eidesnuten because Trolltunga was closed due to landslide.

Die allgemeine Lage des Campingplatzes ist wirklich super und direkt am Fjord. Die Hochbetten in den kleinen Hütten sind leider sehr rustikal und hart. Die Waschräume waren für Campingplatz-Verhältnisse grundsätzlich super und es gab einen Kühlschrank für die Allgemeinheit. Das Personal an der Rezeption wirkte leider häufig genervt. Für 1-2 Nächte ist es machbar, aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich es nur mit einem eigenen Wohnwagen nochmal machen.

Booed a single room which was clean, dual aspect and had good wifi. Wasn’t expecting to make up the bed and pay for showers. Two shared bathrooms for up to 13 guests so be prepared to wait in the evenings.

Recommends for Trolltunga camping

Huge recommend for the Trolltunga camping, we stayed at two bedroom/kitchen/bathroom cabin wich was clean and spacious for five person. Public bath/shower rooms and laundromat was also nice and clean, so recommends also for those who stays with own tents.

Cozy cabin, shared bathroom in the main building but knew that going in. Good location next to a park on a lake surrounded by beautiful scenery. Shared spaces were very clean. Room was small but clean and comfortable.

Cabin stay

Stayed here during our walking trip to Odda with friends. Cabin was nice, spacious. Stayed in a 5 bedroom cabin but one bed was a double, would have been could if that could have separated into 2 beds. Location good and staff friendly.

Bra rum för kort vistelse

Rum med våningssäng (bred nere och vanlig/smal uppe), uppfällbart bord och kylskåp. Precis utanför fanns bord med bänkar, fler kylskåp, utomhusdiskbänk samt servicehuset med kök, tvättstuga, duschar och toaletter. Vi bodde här inför vandring till Trolltunga, det var endast en kort bilresa från campingen när det var dags för vandringen. Fanns även möjlighet att boka shuttlebuss från campingen upp till Trolltunga-parkeringen.

We stayed one night and arrived late, past when reception desk closes. However, great instructions were provided on how to check in. Wi-Fi worked. Adequate number of towels were provided. Clean sheets were provided, but you had to put them on yourself. Bed was comfortable. Cabin decor was average. But we appreciated the essentials for a brief night stay and moving on afterwards.

I chose to stay here because it was the cheapest option for my Trolltunga hike. It’s probably fine if you drive, but if you visit out of season without a car, you’ll need to take a taxi to P2, which cost me 800 NOK one way, basically cancelling out (or even more) the savings from staying here. The receptionist was very helpful and tried to connect me with another guest doing the hike to share transport, but it didn’t work out because they were late, so I took a taxi instead (which arrived quickly, within 5 minutes). Luckily, I met a kind Ohio couple on the guided hike who drove me back to Odda afterward. The surroundings were beautiful though, my room was next to a stream with mountain views. However, I stayed 2 nights and my room was not cleaned during my stay. This was also the first property I’ve stayed at, and I travel often, where I had to pay extra for a hot shower. The property is also a bit far from Odda city centre, and since there’s little public transport out of season, I had to walk to catch the bus to Voss. That said, I got lucky with clear skies and the hike was absolutely worth it. If you’re visiting out of season without a car, I’d recommend staying in Tyssedal instead, since Trolltunga Adventures can pick you up and drop you off there.

Dårlig ventilasjon på rommet. Prisen var høy i forhold til det vi fikk igjen for prisen. Men fint tilrettelagt for å ha med hund og utrolig fin utsikt fra camping plassen.

Good budget choice

Pretty clean and good kitchen amenities. Very comfy beds in the economy "cabin" room (bunk beds). No wifi in the economy cabins. Washing/drying is 40 kr. per thing so a bit expensive for both. Shower is 20 kr. for 5 mins.
