"The grounds were lovely and beautifully kept. The young woman who checked us in was delightful and most helpful...and I am sorry I didn't get her name. The room was standard motel, but clean and very comfortable. The room rate was reasonable and in keeping with the area and property. I will certainly return on our next trip to Ogunquit. "

"Our unit was a 2 Queen bed Townhouse room. We couldn't believe it, we loved it!! Everything was brand new. The staff was very helpful and kind to guiding us where to eat and of course how to get to "Marginal Way". The grounds were well kept and the gas grills spotless. Wish we could have stayed longer."

"We bought food in town and came back to have a leisurely and quiet dinner on the second floor veranda. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony reading in the late afternoon. Convenient walk to Perkins Cove, around Marginal Way, stopping at the lighthouse and returning to The Grand via Stevens Road. Comfortable, roomy, and convenient!!"

"Was very clean. There was a strange smell that didn't quite match the cleanliness. I finally saw there's a drain hole in the bathroom leading down to God knows where, and I think a weird unpleasant smell comes up from there every now and then. After a few hours of AC and windows open the smell went away and everything was fine. Not sure if they can cover those drainage holes or not... it was the only unpleasant thing there."

"This was a return trip to The Colonial. This place is lovely with comfortable rooms (we were in Shorebirds) with two queen beds, a porch with table and chairs, a nice sized fridge and microwave. Main Inn has a great wraparound porch with ample seating. The inside lobby area with a nice seating area for breakfast or a drink. Continental breakfast is plenty to fill you up for the day.
