“Not many options for breakfast”

“After traveling all day we got to the Hillcrest only to find out they did not have all of our rooms. They tried to get us to share the room they had. No phone call to let us know ahead of time. No help in finding us another room. Their thought was that I reserved 4 rooms and they only had 3, that I should still take the 3 rooms because I reserved them. We ended up at going back north to a hotel we passed 30 miles before. Very unhappy that Expedia would even list this property.”

“The bed was very hard & very small. The room was also pretty small. The room was super cold & then in the middle of the night it got very hot. There was a bad odor coming from the bathroom, also. It didn’t have a fridge in it, but there was one in the hallway that ppl could share. It was quiet there & there was a nice view of the river across the street with places to sit.”

“Our two person stay was cozy with enough space to move about. It was nice having a microwave for warming up meals.”

“There was no one at the front desk when I arrived. Instead, check-in was handled through a screen by a virtual representative who appeared to be located in another country. I was asked to provide my government-issued ID through this system, which is my main concern. Why does my ID need to be sent to another country? Who receives it, where is it stored, and who has access to it? Why can’t a staff member physically present at the hotel verify my ID? During check-in, the virtual representative……
