“Terrific property but be warned. The Agoda map location is absurdly wrong. The map in Agoda makes it look close to Minca but the actual distance is miles away. Once you get to the property you aren’t going to Minca unless you’re willing to pay 140 k pesos each way. That said I would stay again. The restaurant food is pretty good but for some reason dinner servings were just warm when they should be hot. The hikes and other activities are fun”

“I liked the natural vibes and Bryan was very nice. I did not like that staff was not available most of the time in the lobby and that the internet did not work. The breakfast was good and the views are nice.”

“Great people and beautiful scenery. Pack light as there is lots of stairs. Bring lots of sun screen and cash as there is no atm machines there and the few places that take cards will charge you a 10% surcharge.”

“Fantastic location just near the main restaurant street, with heaps of food options nearby and even within the hotel itself. The staff were so friendly and fantastic. The food at the restaurant, including breakfast, was delicious! The rooms are spacious and clean, great aircon and fan needed for the hot days. We went for a swim for a river next to the hotel and it was so clean and refreshing, would absolutely recommend staying here!”

“The staff were VERY helpful. The room was extremely clean as was the entire site. The food (even the free breakfast) was of extremely high quality. The only feedback I would share for improvement is a lack of storage or even nightstands made the room a little chaotic during our stay. The location was quiet and otherwise professionally appointed. ”

“Famille de 5, 2 adultes et 3 enfants (11, 9 et 4 ans). La chambre avec lit superposé était parfaite. Beaucoup de rangement. Salle de bain petite et pas d’eau chaude. Piscine correcte un peu froide. Rivière tout juste à côté si vous préférez. Se rendre au village à pied prend environ 15 minutes. Nous nous sommes senti en sécurité. Le petit déjeuner est inclus. On a droit à une assiette et pas de reprise. On peut se rendre aux Cascades à environ 1h30 à pied avec une bonne montée. La végétation est……

“The property is gorgeous and the staff is nice. Very local. But there is very very little detail about road conditions, how far it really is and how hard it is to get up there. If you are driving, it is a WAY past the town of Minca up a treacherous road. We were also assigned a cabin RIGHT next to their bar/night club which meant very loud music all afternoon and night. Not exactly the environment you are looking for going that far into the Sierra.”
