"This hotel is so far out of town that walking in to town isn’t really an option (at least a hour walk) and the buses only run every half hour. As for the room itself, when you enter the bottom of the stairwell, you can turn on the light at the bottom but not the top. So you have to walk up into pitch black and use a flashlight to find the light switch at the top. The room barely cooled off, even with us blasting the AC units. Other than that, the rooms were nice and the onsen had a very pretty...

"Very nice staff. However, there was black mold in the bathroom, the entire place is closed from 10am-3pm, it's hard to find the staff even during "open" hours, and it's far from the train station. It is very close to all of the 7 Hells and some of the best onsen in Japan."

"Spacious room with essential amenities. Let down l by noise pollution and firmer bed. No dryer in the room was a bit of a let down, as we thought we could do the washing in our room, but we didn't have time to line dry the clothes. "
