"Top class hotel with very friendly staff. Check-in team were excellent and helped us with a courier issue. Breakfast choice excellent. Waiters could be more friendly and less abrupt, but otherwise wonderful stay and great central location."

"This was a delightful surprise of a stay. I was at the end of a three-week trip and looking for budget-friendly accommodations. While advertised as a "hostal" or guest house, this property is much more like a boutique hotel. I was upgraded when I checked in without asking and had a wonderful room (Borneo) on the ground floor in one of their buildings close to the reception desk. The room was nicely appointed with a comfortable bed and pleasing decor. I was happy to have a mini fridge and a well-equipped bathroom. The provided beach towels were a nice touch, too. The location in Old Town is great, and I loved feeling like I was part of the city. I could easily walk to everywhere I wanted to go. The staff was great and conveniently called a cab for me on the day I had to check out. I would definitely stay here again! "

"Title: Perfect Adult-Only Escape – Should Be 5 Stars! We stayed here for 4 days and absolutely loved every moment. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a relaxing, adult-only getaway! Location: Fantastic location! Just 5 minutes from the old town, where you’ll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as a lovely area to walk around. The hotel is right on the beach with lots of choices for food and drinks nearby. We also hired bikes from the hotel, and in just 15 minutes, you can be in Puerto Banús. Room: We booked a basic room, but it felt far from basic. Spacious with a huge, comfy bed, a large balcony overlooking the sea, and a great-sized bathroom. Plenty of TV channels too for when you just want to relax indoors. Pool Area: Absolutely beautiful! We never had a problem getting a sunbed, and they were super comfortable. Pool towels are provided, and the service is next level—you can order food and drinks straight from your sunbed using your phone or the button on the bed. Everything we ordered was great quality. You can pay by card or charge it to your room. The pool itself is the perfect size for cooling off. Staff: Incredible! Every single staff member was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. "What a really lovely experience staying in this hotel . As Ojen has such narrow streets and no where near to leave your car we parked in the main village car park below the town and were picked up by Elska in the hotel golf buggy! The hotel is really special - the rooms all air conditioned - are comfortable and tastefully done. Breakfasts are a treat - local fresh bread , home baked cake and home made yoghurt. We are returning for sure "

"Hotel El Faro in Marbella is all about location. Just one block from the beach and right next to the old lighthouse and the Duque de Ahumada promenade, it puts you within easy walking distance of vendors, shops, and restaurants—perfect for enjoying everything the area has to offer. The hotel itself is a bit dated in terms of furniture and appliances, but everything was clean and functioned well. My room had a small kitchen equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, sink, cookware, and utensils, which made it very convenient for a longer stay. The beds were a little firm for my preference, but overall, the stay was comfortable and pleasant. If you're prioritizing location and value, Hotel El Faro is a solid choice. I would consider staying here again and recommend it to travelers who want to be close to the beach at a reasonable price."
