“The resort is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful - perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. The owner was very kind and even offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, and he also took me to visit the old town, Narai-juku.

“The room was incredibly clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was also amazing. I was a short walk from everything I needed and wanted to see, with great restaurants and bars. I had a wonderful night's sleep and the breakfast in the morning was very good. I would love to go back.”
