There is a wood burner with a basket of wood supplied, more is available to be purchased from the farmhouse if needed; you can also purchase some local produce to prepare a meal in the fully fitted kitchen area.

This is an ideal spot for exploring the surrounding area of Dartmoor, many historic towns and villages and a visit to Alder Vineyard for a guided tour is a must to get to know your neighbours. You have a sheltered space if you are bringing along your bicycles; if you are planning some leisurely excursions into the countryside, there is also a utility/boot room as you first enter the property. There are a number of steps leading up from the dedicated parking space.
