“As a hostel located at the mountain remote from the city, I think this hostel would provide everything I need if I want to be closer to the nature. Wifi connection was weak. Cooking was not allowed even though a small kitchen was given. The toilet and shower rooms were still nice. The sleeping area was also nice. Parking area was provided, but it's not on a flat place. In addition, you would hear very nice sounds of the nature anytime when the window was opened - I actually enjoyed it very……
“It is truly an amazing place! My family was welcomed right upon arrival by Ms Honda. She was so wonderful, she treated us like family! The time that the staff took to prepare the meals was great! The breakfast was delicious! Very quiet place, peaceful and beautiful views. The Tokei room was stunning. It's definitely worth the money. 10/10! Way better than a hotel stay!”
"Pros:
- The house was very well designed and spacious, and even a doggo window in the living room. Would be perfect for local families with dogs.
- There are one bathtub and one outdoor jacuzzi which made the experience so much better.
- There are three double beds so can accommodate quite a few people if needed.
- View is nice.
Cons:
- Communication was very difficult with hotels.com as the hotel needed passport for tourists but there’s no in-person check-in. And we cannot send through images through the chat box here and hotels.com blocked email addresses. At the end we found a way but overall was such a hassle.
- Check-in time was quite late at 4pm felt like couldn’t enjoy much for the day as the price was about US$500 a night.
- Can’t swim at the waterfront as it’s too shallow but view is nice.
- The jacuzzi outdoor was not very clean as there’s a lot of ant flushed out during the bath. Would recommend daily cleaning for guests. "
