“We had a nice stay overall. The rooms are soundproof to outside noise (not inside as we discovered in the AM with the room next to us.) We had a nice corner room with windows looking across the street to the ocean through the buildings across the way. Our bartender was top notch! He made our drinks, brought our food, and was so incredibly personable. But the bed… the comforter was yellowed and had a stain like lipstick on it, but the worst part was the pillows. The pillows are like thinly……

“This place is old, the balcony door was not working well, the elevators were not working well, most of the sockets were not working. The view was stunning but I would definitely book somewhere else next time.”

“FYI they painted the outside of the hotel so it is no longer orange, it is now dark gray. The photos of the rooms are also not the same. Parking is in the alley behind the hotel underneath in a parking garage. It is LOUD - heavy traffic on Collins and lots of sirens and horns all day and night. That being said, the suite itself was equipped with a small kitchen, 2 full beds, one bathroom, a pull out sofa and a small dining area. “I got what was advertised, a clean updated room with basic amenities in a fantastic location. Very close to the beach and many great restaurants. Check in was smooth. ”

“The showerhead in the bathroom is terrible. No matter how I close the shower curtain, a lot of water always leaks out onto the floor, and in the end the entire bathroom floor gets soaked.”
