We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The location and house were excellent. Everything was as described. Nothing fancy, bit everything needed was close at hand. The surprise bonus was the free neighborhood shuttle that would pick us up from the front door and take us to the slopes.

Had a wonderful time at Chuck's Yacht. Couldn't ask for a better location with access to the free Mountaineer Shuttle and a five minute drive to Palisades. The house provided a great set up for our two families of four in that the kids and adults had separate hang-out spaces and lots of comfortable spots for sleeping. Would definitely return!

We mostly just used the place as somewhere to sleep and didn't spend much time there. But the place was great. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were nice, place was clean! Only comment was the basement room had a little odor. But you didn't notice it after 30 seconds. Would definitely stay again!

My Family loved this house. It’s conveniently located a few minutes from Palisades, and is on the route for a free on-demand shuttle that we saw around the neighborhood quite frequently. The house is well-appointed, and the kids loved playing pool and sledding on the gradual slope on the side yard. And the property managers are great, including because they kindly let us check in a few hours early to get ahead of some weather.

Quiet neighborhood, quick and easy to get to skiing with the free Mountaineer service, two separate big open areas to hang out upstairs and downstairs. Pool table was a bonus. Plenty of kitchen space for group cooking. Very comfortable, but not too fancy. Relaxing. Just what we needed.

This house was spacious and comfortable, and just as advertised. It was also well-located halfway between Tahoe City and Truckee, and very close to Squaw Village. We even walked to the Village a couple times. The deck is also really nice. Very sunny and surrounded by trees. The house is well-stocked with movies and games, and has Netflix and Hulu, too.

Chuck's yacht is a comfortable property, spacious, nice kitchen and living room area. Nice deck in a great area - near Squaw valley. Pool table downstairs was fun! It has all you need. It does need a few repairs, that I reported - blinds don't work well, sliding door needs a new lock - things like that, but we enjoyed it despite the terrible smoke in the air that week!

Everything was good, except that there was a power outage and we were without heating for almost 48 hours. The property manager only recommended us to light the fire, not very attentive. We had to sleep beside the fireplace because it was freezing inside the house

Not a cabin I’d recommend for family or friends get away as it’s poorly lit floors and rugs are dirty and furniture and beds are old and worn blinds are broken and many have stains . We have been regular renters from VRBO for years this is our 1st poor experience hope this is not a new trend and just an isolated case with property they sponsor
