This Gulf-front condominium is located right in the heart of Orange Beach, conveniently close to several shopping establishments, restaurants, and of course, the beach! This rental boasts a deep corner balcony with stunning beach views, a spacious living area, and a fully-equipped kitchen. For fun on-site, Summer House amenities include shared pools, a hot tub, poolside gazebo, grilling area, and a fitness room, among others! Free WiFi and central air-conditioning round out the interior perks. One sofa bed is included for extra sleeping space

Shop, dine, or charter a deep-sea fishing excursion at SanRoc Cay Marina, less than three miles up the coast. For visiting golfers, try Craft Farms, only 10 miles away, as well as the Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club, just a little over 12 miles west. With the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail - Rosemary Dunes Trailhead located just a couple miles from this rental, you can enjoy a day of exploring the 6,500-acre Gulf State Park on foot. And for local dining, Big Fish, Playa, Yoho Rum & Tacos, and the Gulf are all popular restaurants worth checking out.

Please note that group rentals are not allowed at Summer House on Romar Beach. No more than 5 units may be rented for groups of any kind. Any bookings found to be in violation of this policy will result in a fine of $500.
The fireplace is not for guest use.
This condo allows monthly reservations between November 1st and March 15th
This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Not worth the money!!

Love the actual building (family stayed here last year) BUT this condo was seriously lacking!!! Floors were filthy. No mop in condo to clean floor. Some bedroom and bathroom doors won't lock. Some outlets didn't work. Photos were deceiving. The furniture in photos is nicer than whats in the condo. The furniture needs to be badly upgraded...it is saggy and not comfortable. The wicker couch in the photo is not comfortable at all. Furniture inside and out were not comfortable. The back bedroom got hot at night. Had to pull door shut to close it completely. Oven door doesn't shut completely. Good luck cooking something in the instructed amt of time. Took 1 hour to bake some frozen french fries. Pots in condo had scratched teflon..for the amt to pay for this place they can easily replace pots and pans/furniture and oven!! Horrible pots and pans. Dishwasher does NOT dry dishes..even tho theres a button to heat dry the dishes.. So even though dishes were clean they were wet. This condo is NOT WORTH THE AMT OF MONEY. We had a party of 8...4 were adults and we would not stay here again.

Good location and very spacious.

Right on the beach. Only some minor issues. Could use more towels for our duration. Oven door didn’t close. Guest bath had issues and couldn’t use for a day while waiting for a plumber.

Decent condo for a week away.

So we loved staying on the top floor. View was wonderful. The balcony is off the side of the building facing the street. No breeze on the balcony. Air is lacking. We had fans going nonstop that we bought at Walmart which is almost right across the street. The place is clean but very dated. The king bed was like a trampoline …seriously. The queen bed was a rock and the 18-20 yr olds had no issue with the twins but they are both used to dorm beds. Every dish we used had to be scrubbed. Huge dust balls and yuck in most of the pots/pans. Even with the negatives it was still a decent place and would stay in the building again. Probably not the same condo however.

More attention needs to be paid to the cleaning staff who get this condo ready for the next occupant. When we got there one of our friends walked across the floor and her feet were very dirty. The linens on the bed need to be replaced. They were .very outdated.

Good Location

The location was good. The condo itself was adequate, but needs repairs and updating. Deck furniture was worn and cushions torn. The refrigerator didnt work our first day and the maintenance man was extremely rude, basically calling us liars since the previous renters didn't report it. Certain power outlets did not work. Overall, decent stay, but we would check to see if these issues were addressed before renting again.

Deceiving pictures and description of property

Construction on the building the entire time we were there. Clogged bath tubs. When call Steven he never returned my phone calls. Beds were awful. Patio furniture was torn up, old, or no cushions. This place is a dump for the amount money paid for. Not happy at all! I’ve got pictures to prove how bad it was!

Neglectful Ownership

Access was granted to our room at 4pm sharp. However, the room was not ready. We were able to drop our things but left for 2 more hours, allowing housekeeping to finish. When we returned there was no soap, no toilet paper, paper towels, nor trash bags in the room. Management was quick to respond and much appreciated. But the condo itself was a huge disappointment. Especially for the money. It's extremely outdated and obviously neglected by the owners. The outdoor patio furniture is non-existent and trash. The beds are old and wore out. The living room furniture is wore out and pitiful for the overall property and general reputation of Orange Beach realty. I'm certain with the "owners fees" applied to this place, they could afford some simple upkeep. Sadly Disappointed.

Very nice, clean condo. Lots to see and do

The condo was clean, very nice inside. We were there peak summer so it was crowded. Lots to walk to just be watchful of traffic when crossing. A couple crosswalks would be nice. We loved our stay and would stay again.

Wonderful experience.

Room was clean and well equipped; however, there were some unwashed dishes. Kaizer was very accommodating and fixed items that needed repair. The furniture was very uncomfortable and needed repair.
