「The Yearling Cabins are somewhat remote. I planned my stay around a guided tour at the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings State park and dining at the Yearling Restaurant.」

「We found the cottage to be exactly as it was presented. We enjoyed our two night stay. It was very peaceful. We hiked at Payne's prairie. And visited Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings home. The historic town of Micanopy was quaint. We had the best Cuban sandwich ever there. We hope to be back.」

「Housekeeping lady was very nice and attentive. She recommended us a good breakfast place called square meal. 」

「Not enough can be said about our stay at this place. It had everything we need for a 3 day mini vacation. It is near many restaurants groceries, and movie theaters. Plus many of the springs and parks are within under a 30 minute drive.」

「My family and I have stayed in a number of rentals over the years, and though we understand there aren't too many options when renting in this part of Florida, we did not feel this cabin was worth the price. The kitchen was not the most well-equipped and the refrigerator made a lot of noise throughout the night. We were thankful to be close to the lake, which is why we selected the cabin, but we felt it was overpriced.」
