Great for family vacation

Property was comfortable for our family vacation. When the dishwasher wasn't working, it was repaired very promptly. The separate apartment is very small, but adequate for extra sleeping space.

Beautiful House

We had a wonderful stay at the casita. It’s in a great location, close to both Oranjestad and the beaches. I would recommend renting a car to make getting around easier. The pool and outdoor spaces are beautiful. Our only issue was the hot water tank was broken for our first two days there and we didn’t have hot water. Once we notified the company, the problem was resolved as quickly as possible given it was over the weekend and New Year’s Eve, and a new water heater was installed. With little kids, the house was amazing and the washer and dryer were amazing to have!

The place was beautiful. Great location! They had chairs, umbrella and cooler. Perfect for everything you need for the beach. Enough towels for beach and showers. The dryer wasn't working so well. But we hung the stuff outside. Everything you need to cook, but bring your own spices. We loved our stay. I plan on coming back!

Amazing! Would rent again!

The Aloe Villa was beautiful! We loved the outdoor oasis w/pool and patio details. The Villa was big enough to accommodate 2 families of 5 people... everyone got their own room. Rent a car! We were close to a supermarket and 6-8 minutes from Divi and Eagle beach. We were centrally located on the island and drove to all the major places: Arikok National Park, Baby Beach, San Nicolas, California light house, and we just explored. My older Teen/Adult kids loved the pool area and backyard. I loved the fun Mexican vibe of the house and having a full kitchen. Had an issue with the hot water, pilot light was out, but it was fixed within hours of contacting Casiola. We felt safe in our neighborhood and would definitely stay again. One family!

Family vacation

The home was lovely and could accommodate our family’s needs. The backyard was a retreat! The communication was good and they answered all of the questions we had. We needed to reach out while staying there for a few things and they did respond quickly. However we didn’t get any resolution to the previous renters trash getting picked up and then ours was piling up. Also we ran out of gas the day before we left so we couldn’t use the oven and had cooler water for showers. We also couldn’t dry our clothes to travel home. We did contact them and they came out to see it but no one filled it out. Overall the property was very nice and they did try their best to resolve the issues we had.

Dated, needs some updates, good shade in backyard

This property was dated for the price point. It was clean for the surfaces that you would interact with inside. The outside soft seating was dirty and we needed a towel to sit on any of it. Mostly run down and falling apart. Hard tables were ok. Ac worked ok and the beds were clean. However the beds were extremely uncomfortable. All three rooms we used were some of the worst beds we have experienced at rentals. Just terrible. The outdoor shade was top notch which is one of the reason we booked. The location was ok. Not the best looking but road noise was minimal and we did not have any issues but kept everything locked. Frig and kitchen was good one and the supplies were basic and low end but worked. No instructions on how to use the tv and the hottub and we never got them working. Pool had lots of rust and did not look great but we used it and enjoyed it. Had trouble with ants but the rental service was promo with coming to spray no issues free. However you have to give up an afternoon or morning of your vacation to wait for the service. It was easy to check in and out and had no issues with the doors or using the safe. Washer was super rusted so use caution when reaching in. One shower was very moldy. Would not stay here again at the price point it needs too much updating.

From the moment we walked in the front door to the moment we checked out this amazing place felt like home. Leaving was so difficult and we had tears! As is the case with all home, there were a couple things that came up on our 2 week stay but the host was incredibly receptive and everything was addressed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this property for a larger family. Plenty of room and amenities. Absolutely outstanding for all of us who came. What a gem. We definitely plan on coming back!!

Had a wonderful time staying here. We had enough room for everyone and felt very comfortable. We absolutely loved the pool and jacuzzi. We had many dinners alfresco. You won’t regret staying here. It’s a paradise in its self.

Heaven on earth

This house is even better than the pictures portray. It was absolutely perfect. The backyard is movie-worthy and is just beyond gorgeous. The property manager responded to questions extremely promptly, which is a huge help. I give this rental 10/5 stars! You will not want to ever leave!

Family fun

We were joined by our son and daughter and their families comprising 2 older children 18 and 20 and two youngsters 5 and 8. The outdoor area in particular was a big winner with the youngsters hardly ever out of the pool. We loved the bbq facility and spent evenings on the patio enjoying the local beer and wine. The property was well air conditioned and very comfortable with everything catered for. We even had a friendly Iguana who enjoyed the grapes etc fed to him by the children! A great villa for a family get together.

Wonderful Vacation in Aruba

Reviewer Comments: I rented Villa Aloe for 12 nights and had basically a full house for the entire time with multiple sets of friends and family coming in for 4 or 5 nights each. There was a bit of rain and a rogue iguana here and there that complicated things a bit given the outside living nature of the villa but that is certainly nobody's fault!

We rented the Villa for my family of 10 to stay during our daughter's destination wedding in Aruba. At first because this was our first time on the island, we were unsure of the location in relation to the wedding festivities, but it was perfect. Close to downtown, close to beaches, close to the center of everything. We will definitely be back to enjoy Aruba again, and will be staying at Villa Aloe Aruba.

I was traveling with my family and stayed in Villa Aloe for a week. Overall I had a great experience. Villa is very comfortable and clean. It was plenty of space for adults and our kids. We enjoyed open patio and pool. Heated jacuzzi was a extra bonus. Location of the villa in the quite, suburbs area with close proximity to shopping and beach. We had a rental car, therefore it was easy to get around. I want to highlight outstanding communication with property management company before and after check-in. We had several questions and they were handled promptly. I will definitely recommend this villa to all for your next stay in Aruba.

It had everything we needed, and the amenities were wonderful. We spent a lot of time there during our vacation because the backyard was so beautiful. HOWEVER, every single bed (especially the master) was VERY uncomfortable. The MBR bed felt like you were sleeping on a boxspring with no mattress on top. The 6 of us kept switching beds to see if we could find a more comfortable one. For this reason, I would not go back to this villa unless they upgrade the mattresses.

To get to the downtown are the taxi was about $10. There is a supermarket right around the corner. My only complaint was that there was no hot water in the house. When I called the owner we received no answer. I tried calling for 3 days. The only time I seen him was the first day. There were a lot of bugs on the island so bring insect repellent.

The large round table and oblong table were great to eat at, to laugh, and share our stories. Stuart was great! He was very helpful and responded very quickly. Our first morning the coffee maker wasn't working so we called Stuart he was at the villa in minutes with another coffee maker and coffee! The location of the Villa to the beaches require you to rent a car or take a taxi. Taxi's are pricey. A few things if updated would make this Villa perfect: o updated mattresses o hot tub wasn't working o refrigerator / freezer (door didn't close well, freezer wasn't working properly) Like I said the Villa was lovely with the updates it would be perfect!
