Fantastic dinner

On our way between Split and Dubrovnik lies the splendid city and island of Korcula. Villa Antonio is ideally suited to use the passenger ferry to the island, directly into Korcula old town. While many reviews have already highlighted the splendid breakfast at the hotel, we would love to add and note the superb dinner (buffet style) that we enjoyed during our stay, with plenty of different fish, meats, deserts and other dishes. That alone is a reason to stay at the Villa! We especially recommend booking the suite with view of the sea and two bedrooms, which gave us a fantastic and comfortable 2-night-stay. The only pity was that the rooms do not have fridges to keep cold drinks.

Views from the pool and restaurant are stunning. Some of the staff was friendly, but mr Antonio was impolite. The room, staircase and bathroom were dirty. Nothing in the room matched. It was a really disappointing stay.

Beautiful views from the property, the property is a little dated but staff was friendly. I booked teh wrong dates by mistake and the property would not refund or change dates. Expedia got me a refund, then I was able to book at the same place for the proper nights. Moral of the story, Staff is great, ownership is not.

Upon arrival, we were first given a room with a strong smell of mold and peeling walls, clearly indicating issues with dampness and possible mold growth. We insisted on changing rooms, and the new one was much better. However, over time, we noticed a persistent sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Much of the hotel showed signs of cheap and temporary fixes, lacking proper maintenance. Additionally, we were not asked to provide any ID upon check-in, even though this is required by law. When it came to the tourist tax, the hotel demanded full payment even though two of our children are under 12 years old — and therefore exempt. They also insisted that the tax be paid in cash. On the positive side, the hotel had a nice view and the breakfast was decent.

Magnifique

Magnifique demeure avec un service impeccable, de délicieux repas (généreux), belle piscine propre. Nous avons rencontré Antonio qui est très sympathique ainsi que toute l'équipe qui l'entoure. Il y a même des tortues dans un des jardins en liberté. La vue depuis la villa est très belle également, que ce soit des chambres ou de la terrasse d'où nous déjeunions.

Lovely location with great views. Plenty of parking. Only thing to watch is the entrance is on a bend so do use the mirror across the road when exiting. Food was excellent. They went to a lot of trouble to cater for my wife's food allergies, which was much appreciated. Staff were all very friendly and helpfull. Highly recommended.

Characterful hotel with amazing views!

A decent stay, the hotel has lots of character and the beds are very comfortable. A couple of minor issues with light bulbs not working and a jacuzzi bath with a mind of its own but nothing too serious. The staff are very pleasant and the quiet pool and views are amazing!
