不满意：清洁度、服务设施、住宿条件和设施
Mont Vernon is an old and deteriorated hotel with a handful of “renovated” rooms. The area is highly secluded and is challenging to get to by taxi (the seasoned driver repeatedly expressed concerns of leaving us at the property), and once arriving, the concrete paths are uneven and destroyed from lack of repair. There are several former units that have entire front exteriors missing from a hurricane in 2017. This particular unit is dated although it was “renovated in 2022.” The air did not work when we arrived, and the doors could not be left open off the patio due to suffocating odor of the extensive seaweed covering the entire beach area next to Mont Vernon. In regards to the description of the proximity of Orient Bay Beach - this is completely inaccurate. Guests would need a car (for which parking is next to impossible as residents even struggle with securing a spot) to drive to a location that is not fully covered in decaying seaweed and even remotely close to beach access or restaurants. Thankfully, Expedia responded immediately to our concerns after a lengthy phone call and pictures sent of the room and surrounding environment. The owner agreed to refund all of our payment except for $199 due to the inaccurate and misleading description published on Expedia.
