Great House in a Great Neighborhood

A lot of your games and entertainment items are broken though. There is some wall paper peeling and water stains on a bunch of the wooden furniture, but the house itself is great and the property managers were great at communciation.We will be staying here in again in the future.

Beautiful House

They house was great for our family. All of the rooms looked exactly like the pictures. Upon arrival we paid for the pool to be heated but it was still cold. Within 40 min they sent someone out to fix the pool. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, crock pot, instapot, blender, and coffee maker. There were a few things that did not work like the iron and the pool table needs to be replaced. Also the living room TV has a blue haze to it and the volume was in and out. But overall I would stay at this house again.

Family Thanksgiving Experience

The community was beautiful. The check in process was seamless. The house is as pictured. We love our family Thanksgiving gathering. The kitchen could use more pots and pans. Otherwise no complaints

Beautiful and wonderful stay

The hime was very clean. Rooms were roomy and were sticked with sufficient items. Large kitchen for our large group. The kiddos and adults loved the game room. Any questions or cincerns were addressed immediately.

Nice Listing but watch out of the gatekeepers!

Reason for rating three stars: (1) our first day, we checked into the property with a broken fridge. As a result, infant food was spoiled and we couldn’t go grocery shopping to stock up the fridge for our stay. It took the rental’s contact over 12 hours to respond and that was only after consistently trying to get a hold of them. They resolved the issue by relocating us to another house in the community. (2) the gate guards take their jobs TO seriously. Not upset about this totally, but one of my guest staying with us who was on the list was denied access because they did not have a drivers license. However, the community’s sign in front of the gate read “must have a government ID”. Isn’t a valid state ID considered a government ID?!?! Yeah still scratching our head about this one. Otherwise , all was OK with our stay.

Many Issues During Stay; Charged without Proper Follow Up

My family and I have stayed at multiple houses within this community. And while the community, and the check in of this house was great, the happenings once we checked in, and after we left we’re anything but great. Upon check in, the temperature of the downstairs was 79 degrees. Within an hour of arrival (5pm) I messaged the company and was told to keep the doors closed. I messaged again when it started climbing in the evening towards 80 degrees. I again was told to keep the doors closed, and eventually we managed to get someone to come out after having to trouble shoot things ourselves. That person told us they can’t help us and we’re just sent out to “check.” By evening we were forced to purchase fans, and gather upstairs, as downstairs was getting too warm for comfort. By the am, the temperature downstairs was 86 degrees. We were forced to leave the home until 2pm when we finally begged, hourly, to try and get help. In addition; the play station was not useable as described, the pool was shocked on Sunday rendering it unusable most of the day, until after the rain helped to dilute it. Upon check out we were charged for things that were noted to be either broken or not working since before we arrived. Having provided the company with all of our time stamped photos (luckily taken when we got there) they have yet to respond to us about our concern for the charges as well as some sort of compensation for the 22 hours we were without AC, as it’s a basic standard amenity.

Great place for a gathering

I was looking for a place to host a group of 21 people. I wanted a resort style place that offered amenities. Champions gate offered this. While researching homes to accommodate a party of 21, I came across this home and it’s property manager. It turned out to be everything I want and needed! The home is spacious, clean and appealing. Although it’s probably rented hundreds of times, you can tell the manager invest time and money into it. Furniture shows wear and tear but that’s to be expected. Game room is a nice option for those traveling with young teens. Pool area is very nice and will certainly be the spot you chill most. The property manager is phenomenal. I had a few minor issues. She responded immediately and all issues were addressed. Thank you for making my first VRBO experience pleasant! I’d have no problem returning in the future. Blessings

Pure relaxation

Enjoy every day, kids love the pool, video game room and the convenience of the community pool area.. Thank you for allowing us to feel at home while being away from home.. Great house, just as pictured, except the seating in the main living room had been changed to less seating. There was Plenty of towels, and it was Very clean. Owner quick to respond to questions and requests.

This property is scrumptious and my entire family loved it. It was a wonderful surprise for my mom, who retired and was greeted by family to celebrate such a milestone in her life. This house is true to the photos. Issues: screen projector not working at all so we didn’t get to watch a movie together on it as I planned in my head so many times before arriving. It’s okay, we barely had time to do so but would have if we could have. But please fix this, as it is a major reason we chose the home. Cable was out a few days in two rooms but was later fixed. We stayed 6 nights, 7 days last week. The very worst part of this is there were about four pots and pans. That’s terrible for a house with 9 bedrooms. Luckily, I seen this problem in other reviews and my uncle who was driving packed lots of pots and pans in his truck and drove. We are blessed to have a chef (my uncle) in the family who came with slow cookers, and buffet pans and fed us EVERYDAY, breakfast lunch and dinner. And the meals were amazing, Everyone else was flying and pots and pans on a flight would have been impossible let alone ridiculous. The AC and heating system is too good. Pool was great and didn’t need to be heated. Hot water was sufficient and got nice and hot ladies. Lol My only suggestion is to have someone check all the TVs and remotes (missing batteries and back covers) make sure they are in working order before arrival, and management please please add more tools for cooking, it is a very vital part of the trip. Oh and the club area is great !!!! The Children had a blast. Thank you for working with us from beginning to end. We look forward to returning in the future. ♥️

Happy Family!

My family of 28 stayed in this magnificent home and enjoyed ourselves to the absolute fullest! We had been nervous about running out of hot water (due to previous reviews and our large family), but we did several loads of laundry daily and never ran out of hot water for showers. The home is so spacious that we never felt like we were on top of anyone. And this house was just a quick walk to the main pool - which was a bonus! I do recommend that you bring large pots/pans for cooking if you have large groups. I would also recommend extra trash bags and extra toilet paper. We used disposable plates, cups, bows, spoons, forks, etc to cut back on the dishes and clean up, but it wasn’t necessary if you don’t mind doing dishes or running the dishwasher. My family will absolutely be back in the future!

Lots of space

Plenty of room for ten of us in this comfortable house. They should have reduced the number of TVs and used they money to better equip the kitchen and buy higher quality deck furniture. Don’t miss the Oasis water park.

Loved this property.

Loved the house. Plenty of rooms. Nicely decorated. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. For a house that sleeps as many as this house does, the lack of kitchen essentials was disappointing. Plenty of dishes and cups. Could not even make breakfast for our crew with the pots and pans available. We had to purchase additional pots and pans just to make a meal. Could possibly use another hot water heater. Again with the size of this house, only a few could take showers before running out of hot water. With 15 of us in the house we typically do a couple of loads of laundry and run the dishwasher each day, this also uses additional hot water. Kids loved the heated pool in January, as well as the water park in the community, nice added feature. The kids loved the game room. Overall a pleasant experience.

Fun vacation home. Came as advertised.

We had a great time at this home in Champion's Gate. Had all of the themed rooms, as pictured. Furniture and dishes are all cheap, but that's what I would expect out of a kid friendly vacation rental.

House good, not great. Management terrible.

The house was decorated nicely but almost every piece of furniture was in rough shape. Cheap furniture(three of the chairs were broken upon arrival). Was not happy with the cleanliness upon arrival, didn’t look like it had been vacuumed recently. They are currently trying to charge me $200 for a laundry basket(wasn’t there), childs car booster seat(wasn’t there), 8 towels, 8 hand towels, and 15 washcloths that are “missing”. Was told that we were supposed to count every towel when we got there to ensure we wouldn’t be charged. Mind you, they don’t provide an itemized list of all the things that are included, just general guidelines. So saying we were responsible to count everything just doesn’t make sense. All of those issues aside, this development was really nice, the pool was a BLAST, and the location to all of the parks was convenient. Almost all of the houses in this community have the same layout, my advice is to choose one NOT with this management company. LOTS of other options.

First time but not the last!

Our family (all 20+ of us) had a terrific time. The house was very clean and nicely appointed. The convenience of the pool, hot tub game room, movie area and the community area gave everyone something to do at all times. The hot tub was spilling over into the swimming pool making the pool the same temperature as the pool....very warm. After a couple of days, I called to have it checked and the technician did not come on the expected day making another call necessary. The day after the second call, it was repaired. We liked the convenience of restaurants, stores and attractions that make up the Champions Gate area. Our overall experience was very positive and would recommend it. I give the stay a 4.7 rating because of the hot tub issue.

Great place for large families!

We had 13 adults and 12 children and there was plenty of room. We found cooking a little challenging but the kitchen size helped. Could have used another 9x13 pan and another large pot but overall was very nice. Staff was quick to fix any problems we had. The parks are a good 30 -45 minutes door to gate with traffic so allow for that. We would stay here again!
