Not as advertised

His wife was injured by the patio furniture being broke which other guests have complained about also before my stay There was so much filth as in the walkway filth all over the back where the pool is the pool jets didn't work and the spa the entire trip we were there we paid for a heated pool we'd never got a heated pool the washing machine did not work whatsoever they claimed to put a new washer and they never did they it did not advertise his property properly this property was horrible it ruined my daughter's wedding

Great place for a Family getaway!

Overall my entire family was very happy with the rental! The place is nice and we really enjoyed staying at the property. It is a rental so there were a few spots that had some wear on it but nothing critical. Overall the pictures listed are still good. We had a large group for this trip and this house was perfect. we had 4 families and everyone had their own space. The pool was great since we paid for the pool to be heated. The hot tube was an added plus for the adults to relax in after being out and walking all day. We will absolutely look at renting this place again on our next family vacation and I'll also make sure to recommend this place to anyone looking.

Wonderful stay!!!

Soon after my reservation was made I started seeing negative reviews. These reviews made made extremely nervous so I reached out to the property owners and they assured me that the problem was with the management company and they have since hired a new company. Although I was still nervous we had to keep the reservation as our trip was past the refund date. Fast forward to our stay, we had a wonderful time. The check in process was smooth, the property was clean and as pictured. One of the doors was broken from a previous guest and the management company was there the next morning to fix it and asked if everything else was ok. I needed to reach out to the owners for an additional driver and they quickly added the guest to the list so they could have access to drive through the gates. Of course there was wear and tear on a few things but that’s expected when you have multiple groups in and out of a property. The only thing I could say was an issue is how cold it was in the house but you can’t pleaser everyone. Overall I would visit this property again. Frank and Winnie promptly responded to every inquiry I had. Thank you!!

It’s a 3 star hotel home.... you will need to buy things to accommodate for a regular stay

I have so many complains about the house. I really thought that things were getting taken care off. I messaged the owners concerned about prior reviews and I was assure that that things were being taken care offf.... it wasn’t we arrived and there was atleast 10 garbage bags infront of the house. - the room by the entrance sheets smelled like it was never cleaned in atleast 2 weeks - the game room, all the games are damged. Even the pool table sticks have problems, also the high chairs my cousin almost fell of because the sit is lose. I will attach the picture - the kitchen is missing so many utensil, I had to buy spatulas, soap, paper towel, trash bags... etc. Also the kitchen sink is lose it seats back and forth. - in the living room one of the chair lost a leg while I was sitting on it, I weight 180 pounds. I landed fine but it’s really unacceptable ( I will attach pics too) - the room with the crib I had to clean the fan because it had dirt falling off when I turned on the fan. The bathroom was dirty the only thing that was cleaned was the toilet -Pool area has a broken furniture and we had NO POOL towels - the room upstairs above the main entrance the sheets were wet and there was love bugs on the carpet. - the proyector is connected to a DVD ....... - ZERO COMMUNICATION WITH THE PROPERTY MANAGER. I was given the phone number the day before I checked out

We made it work

The property was spacious but not very clean and had a lot of broken things. We had broken cabinets doors and TVs there was also only a handful of outlets that worked in the house. The pool was unusable it was very dirty and had clumps of hair floating in it. The patio furniture is an accident waiting to happen my father in law was almost impalled by a bar when he sat on the loveseat on the patio. We had 3 days to universal so we made it work but if we were planning on lounging around the house and not doing the theme park it would have been a terrible trip. All in all we were very excited to try somewhere new and was excited about this house but in the end was highly disappointed.

Property is not as advertised

The property was not cleaned properly. A bedroom upstairs had dirty clothes in it. The sheets and pillow cases were dirty and had spots. Also the oven was not cleaned. The house had ants and roaches. Most of the items in the house did not work: garbage disposal, air hockey table, freezer(seal was falling off causing water to sit in the bottom), broken blinds in a couple of rooms, televisions, cabinets, WiFi, dryer, projector, outlets and much more. Contacting someone was the hardest. I spoke to someone everyday since we arrived and nothing was cleaned or fixed before we left. Very disappointing for a family gathering.

Unsanitary stay with current the condition of COVID.

I will be submitting a complaint with CDC and whomever else. The place was filthy. Blood stains on sheets, pee stains on the sheets. We even found a few roaches. With the rising number of COVID, the place was hideous. We found other people clothes that didn't belong to us. Outlets were not working and also the dryer. Bad experience. Not enough towels for the week. I informed the owner how many people were staying. Communication was terrible. I was promised that certain things would be taken care of, didn't happen. Cigarette butts were all over the property. Some type of refund needs to be granted. I also have pictures. Thanks.

Unattended maintenance to property

I sent a previous email to our arrival 1 to 2 months ahead due to our concern with other reviews... they did respond back saying that all of that was taking care of, to our surprise some of those reviews were real , we started opening cabinets in the kitchen and one of the doors under the sink was about to fall. We pulled on the cabinet to the right of the range and it just came loose, being a big house for a the grill not big @ all you can probably fit a steak @ a time, some of the door knobs are going loose, the pool was not cleaned good (clear water yes) top edge of pool not so clean, bed with pee stain, the audio on the projector couldn't set up, the pavers on the pool were very rough that the kids end up having cuts on their feet, gasket on the fridge freezer is all loose, nothing in the game room worked, etc ,etc .... we tried to make our stay as best as posible and we had a good vacation due to the places we visit, it is a decent size house but maintenance is so poor

Interesting to say the least...

The pictures are accirate as far as what the inside of the house looks like....but they DO NOT show how many things are falling apart. There are crown molding pieces completely falling off from the bannister, there's holes in the wall, scuff marks all over the place, and a serious ant problem in the front yard and back patio. The owners had just changed property management companies, and we had a huge issue w/the door code to get in upon arrival. There ARE NOT adequate towels for your stay...so get ready to buy some! The refrigerator sealant for the doors is coming off, and the ice maker DPES NOT produce enough ice for a large family. Cleaning supplies to include a mop & broom are beyond sub-par, and the carpet appears old and needs to be steam cleaned. The washer does ok, and the dryer lint trap needs to be cleaned out immediately! This is a fire hazard! The pool & jacuzzi weren't cleaned until 5 days into our stay, and when the jacuzzi jets were turned on, water dissapeared out of it... making it unusable. The men of our group actually figured out how to fix this issue due to management not addressing it in a timely fashion. There is no binder for the internet password as the check-in instructions say, but the owner provided that for us. Overall....we would not stay in this house again. A gate pass is on the other side of the neighborhood and traffic is AWFUL. We did not have a good experience in this house and spent a good amount of time out doing things. Beds were decent and the air conditioning was the best part of the house as Florida was extremely hot and humid during out entire stay.

Beautiful home

We really enjoyed our stay with the exception of some other renters across the street who were making so much noise. The house had normal issues come up but nothing major. Exp ball was missing from one of the games I had the kids look around the floor and they located it. My main issue was the check in process. We waited in a long line at the gate only for them to tell us our names were not on the list therefore they could not let us in. I texted owner and he handled it right away. Would book again

Poor / zero communication with property managers

After sleeping in the prior guests urine stained bed for 2 nights before realizing, no return call about the pool looking like a pond & no instructions on how to use the projector that was advertised in the loft . The owners returned my email but the management company .. nothing !!

Great family vacation

The house was very clean and comfortable. It was stocked with everything we needed. The location was beautiful and a close drive to the parks and other happenings around Orlando. The grocery store is right around the corner. We had trouble with the pool heat the first day but someone came out to fix it immediately when we called. There was plenty of space for our group to stay comfortably. The teenagers had their privacy and the little ones loved their themed rooms. And the adults had their own space. The check in process was a bit of a headache with long lines of cars and one person checking people in. But it was well worth it. We will definitely stay again.

50th birthday golf trip

8 of us had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. Everything you need for a relaxing stay in a great location. Gave us everything we needed and more and could easily accommodate more people as we all had our own bedroom with one unused. Will use again for sure next time we are down at Champions Gate.

Nothing worked

None of the advertised games or functions worked while we were there. The code was not correct for check in. We waited 35 minutes to get in. Pool table ripped up, airlock table did not function, ping-pong table had no net, projector wasnt working right at first, hot tub never functioned washer dryer was rusted out and sounded like it was gonna explode. Big house not the nicest very run down carpets and appliances and extras don't function.

Very disappointed to say the least! Beware

My family and I were very much looking forward to having a nice family vacation. We stayed at champions gate last summer in a different home and had a great time. This time was vastly different. On our first full day there we started notice multiple issues with the home. -The light under the microwave didn’t work -The projector screen and soundboard doesn’t work upstairs -The tv’s in 2 bedrooms don’t work -The pavers in the pool area are very jagged and continue to give cuts on the children’s feet (Bleeding from multiple toes on all 6 kids) -The pool jets don’t circulate inside the pool -pool pump broken -The dishwasher was completely broken and my husband had to fix it -the paddle for the air hockey table was completely shattered when we arrived and wasn’t usable -drain in shower downstairs came out and exposed the piping to become a huge safety issue not to mention it was gross -the shower curtain in the Harry potter bathroom is completely rusted and pieces of the rust fell off onto our body in the shower -there’s WiFi / connection issues on the TVs that do work/turn on . -filter on the fridge for ice and water was 99 days overdue to be changed and flashing every other second -black mold aggressively growing in upstairs bathroom -multiple cockroaches/palmetto bugs in home -the AC stopped working the day before we left on the second floor and it reached 85 degrees. The property management team came to fix it 2 hours later. I attempted to communicate with the home owner himself or his wife but never did once. Another man would text or call me representing the home owner and nothing was done to fix anything until the day before we left in the evening, (AC) when we had less than 24 hours left to stay there. I would’ve thought the home owner had more knowledge regarding the condition of their home or cared. But no, they let everything go and have to have me calling the home owner and the property management team DAILY while on vacation. During Covid-19 having people come in and out of where we were staying was very unsettling. The AC repair man came into the home without a mask on! I complained to the “home owner” and the “rep” promised me a $500 refund AFTER I wrote them a good review so nobody else could be scammed. I’ve been in constant contact with VRBO to plead with them to help me. Provided details and photos, I am awaiting their response. Do not rent this home!

Made the best of it

Overall, the property is great except we had several issues with wifi, game room, and electricity. I also think paying extra to heat the hot tub that is advertised is not fair. We made the best of it because it was a special family event, but not having wifi AT ALL all 5 days was not an ideal situation for all who were counting on it. We reported the issues: some were fixed and some were not. The equipment offered in the game room was broken so we couldn't enjoy it as planned. Also, the wifi never came back, so we couldn't enjoy family movies, etc.... We also had on and off issues with the electricity which affected the appliances in the kitchen. Wasn't the most ideal stay, but we made the best of it.

Week stay for family vacation

We loved the setup of the house, we were disappointed in how many things were broken when we arrived and spent a lot of time documenting them when we first got there. Luckily none of the things were vital to enjoying our stay. The knob on the dryer was broken, but a quick call and it was fixed within an hour. The layout of the house was great, huge living space, the pool and spa were great. We loved Champions Gate and the Oasis Club was awesome, however the neighborhood the house is in was in was loaded with cars on both sides, so it was hard to get through at times, even the ambulance and fire truck had to get people to move their cars to get through because the driveway only parking is not enforced. Additionally, it was packed on the weekends with several parties and tons of people. The ambulance and fire truck were in our neighborhood three nights out of 7. During the week it was very quiet and family friendly. The gate to the neighborhood was broken and the scanner did not work all week. You could see where someone hit it while we were there, but it was not fixed in the week we were there so you had to call for them to let you in every time. Overall we enjoyed our stay and Champions Gate, others we talked to said they never experienced the crowds they had on the weekends we were there, said they had a lot of graduation parties. We would definitely stay again.

Status of items in house

There were several marks dings and such on the walls they were not distract but we were concerned about being accused of causing those. A couple of potential danger items were a broken light stuck in the Harry Potter room and a chip in the dining table that could have caused a cut to one of our grand kids. Cleaners did their job but maintenance needs a little more care.

Quick getaway to Florida

Property is new in a new area. House was nicely decorated, different themes, Open area for visiting & large kitchen table. Pool and spa were used daily. Quick responses on any questions we had. Easy check in / out. Clubhouse is a nice facility as well, we ran out of time to enjoy it though. Would stay here again, thanks!

Everything went wrong

The property owner was very responding to my initial questions and we were looking forward to staying at this house. However everything went wrong which really made us not enjoy are stay! We had plumbing issues - toilet didn’t flush , overflowing sink and dishwasher causing 3 kids to skip and fall on the slippery floor , power went out on my rock pot leaving my food raw all day and coming home to no food!! Oven didn’t work for first 2 days —— was looking forward to a relaxing smooth get away but it was just a bunch of stress and exhaustion calling maintenance 20 times to come and not having them show up to hours later ...
