Has great potential

There were a lot of nice things about this place. The location/property is perfect. WE have stayed on Reunion properties before and have always been pleased. The VRBO is also very nice and updated and accommodated our family very well. Cons: First, we did not have a working Wi-Fi. The password provided did not work, so we contacted the property management and were told to do several things -- all of which did not work. We were told that they would send someone out to the property the next day to fix it. So we were without Wi-Fi the rest of that day, as well as the morning of the next day. We left a large note for the repairpersons to PLEASE leave us with the new password once it was fixed. When we arrived home after a day out, expecting the Wi-Fi to be fixed, there was no note from the repairperson(s). We tried logging onto the Wi-Fi again, but again, no luck. We contacted the property manager to ask about this and were told that the repairperson had come out to try to fix the Wi-Fi, that they were unable to, and so the property manager said they thought it was an internet issue and were having someone from Century Link out the next day (our 3rd day on the property) to see if they could repair it. Fortunately, one of our adult children -- who is handy with electronics -- did some research and took a look at the Wi-Fi, found the original factory installation information and was able to re-set the Wi-Fi, even setting the password to the one that we were originally provided with, to make sure other visitors did not have the problem we did. We then contacted the property management to tell them we had fixed it, to cancel Century-Link, and letting them know we had set the password to the one we were provided. The other issue we had was with the cleanliness of the place. The floor was pretty dirty everywhere, and the bathtub in the master bath was terribly dirty and appeared to have not been scrubbed for a very, very long time. If the Wi-Fi had been working and not a problem, and the place had been cleaner, this would have been a 5 star review.
