The motel’s parking lot felt unsafe, with groups of people loitering and smoking weed throughout the day. The strong odor of marijuana permeated the area, making it uncomfortable to even walk through the parking lot. This unsettling atmosphere persisted until our early morning checkout at 6 AM, with people still smoking outside. It felt as if we were in the wrong part of town. Upon check-in, we were given a room that reeked of cigarette smoke, almost as if someone had just extinguished their cigarette moments before we entered. It seemed as though the room had been used continuously for smoking over several weeks. On a positive note, the motel staff were exceptionally polite and responsive. They quickly addressed our concerns about the initial room without any hesitation and promptly provided us with a new room. Despite the new room being smoke-free, it came with its own set of problems. The air conditioning unit was not functioning properly, making the room uncomfortably warm. However, once we reported this issue, the maintenance team acted swiftly. Within minutes, a new air conditioner was brought and installed. The efficiency and dedication of the maintenance staff were truly impressive. While the service and staff deserve a solid 5 stars for their outstanding efforts, the motel itself falls short with just ZERO star. I would caution potential guests about the current state of the motel, especially if you are seeking a comfortable and worry-free stay.
