This classic, mid-century home sits on a quiet tree lined street across from Lake Ivanhoe. The neighborhood is in a park like setting, with Starbucks, Publix, shops, restaurants and bars all within an easy walk. The house is less than five minutes to I-4 with Universal Studios and International Drive only 10 miles away.

The home is tastefully furnished and clean with refinished hardwood floors. The living room, dining room and family room have unobstructed views of the lake. The master bedroom has a King bed, en-suite bathroom, walk in closet and a serene lake view. Bedrooms two and three have a queen bed and full bed respectively, with views of the expansive back yard. A washer and dryer are available in the garage, along with room for one car with remote control door opener. The house has two smart TVs: a 55" in the family room and a 32' in the master. The house also has good WiFi.

    Summer housing for ballet summer intensive

    We were looking for close accommodations to Orlando Ballet School for the 5 week summer intensive. The house and location were fantastic and perfect for our needs. Michael was very responsive and hospitable. Everything was clean and just as described. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to return!

    The location and neighborhood are great. The house sets across the street from a lake with beautiful views and sunsets. The house and furnishings are older but clean. The owner lives next door and was very accommodating.

    We stayed for 5 weeks for an intensive at Orlando Ballet and the home was perfect. Located near everything and in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. Michael was super responsive and couldn’t have been a better host. Highly, highly recommend!

    Delightful stay

    We enjoyed our six-week stay at this lovely property. Michael was very helpful and quick to respond to our questions. The house is great and the lake views beautiful, especially the gorgeous sunsets. We enjoyed exploring College Park too and loved the convenience of the location.

    I can’t begin to say how much we enjoyed our stay. Michael is the perfect host, quick to respond to any questions we may have. His property is located on beautiful Lake Ivanhoe in the historic district of Orlando. You can literally park your car and walk to many attractions in the area. Rental is located in an upscale neighborhood where people stroll freely with their friends and pets. Hard to put in print just how happy we were with this rental.

    Quiet, picturesque setting in an active upscale neighborhood close to restaurants and attractions. Well equipped and comfortably furnished property. The owner lives next door and exceed our expectations in promptly meeting small needs that came up during our stay. A very pleasant experience.

    We spent several tranquil months this winter in this comfortable lakeside home in old College Park. The view out the front windows was amazing...sunsets over the lake through the Spanish moss covered trees. The house is well appointed and quickly felt like home. Michael Black, the landlord who lives next door, is more of a gracious host than owner. He handles any request politely and instantly whille allowing us our privacy.     Stunning Neighborhood near Orlando

    A family of 5 and our pet Yorkie stayed for the week of July 4th. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Michael was very responsive to e-mails during the rental process. The best aspect of this home is it's location -- a view of a lake out the front windows and in an affluent neighborhood very close to all the Orlando attractions. We felt very safe walking our dog and looking at the stately homes in the neighborhood. The local community all came out as a community to watch fireworks across the lake over Orlando. The 3 bedrooms / 2 baths were comfortable and the kitchen was well furnished / stocked. The only negative (although slight) was the age of the home (several parts and furnishing of the home could use some updating/modernization), but this was not negative enough in my opinion to lower the rating below 5 stars. Thanks!

    Great, comfortable place to stay and very conveniently located

    Beautiful location conveniently located for our family activities and any other attractions in the Orlando area. Great sitting on the front stoop, having coffee and gazing at the lake and the activities on it throughout the day. Great friendly "walking" neighborhood - with an array of dogs going by. We totally enjoyed our stay and hope to have an opportunity to return to such a peaceful place.

    Beautiful area. The house is beautiful and the decor is very well done.

    The view from the front porch is awesome. Very peaceful area and neighborhood. Honestly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. This house is very conveniently located to anything or anyplace in Orlando.

    Relaxing

    The property is as shown in the photos. Gorgeous sunrise and sunset from the lake. Very luxurious bedding and linens. The only reason I gave it a four star is because the kitchen needs more small appliances and other such extras for the serious cook. The pantry is full with various spices and condiments. Nice to have and not have to buy all those things.

    Fantastic location and perfect neighborhood

    We loved staying at Michaels house. Waking up every morning looking out at the lake was wonderful. Walking distance to the local Publix and Starbucks was also a plus. Neighbors were so welcoming and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better house and location for our family to stay for 4 months.

    Beautiful lakeside view

    We rented this home while in Orlando for a family wedding. The house was comfortable and clean, just a little outdated. The front porch had a beautiful view of the lake and we spent a lot of our time out there. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

    Beautiful setting on Lake Ivanhoe

    This faces a part of Lake Ivanhoe, a very tranquil setting. Walkers and joggers love to walk by this house as it is on the perimeter of the lake. The house is very clean, and well maintained. The den furniture and large TV very comfortable. Internet WIFI had good speed. Bedding very good. Kitchen is well stocked with seasonings, spices, paper towels...everything to make it easier to use the kitchen for cooking. Excellent restaurants nearby...even walking distance. Use of the microwave for over 4 minutes will trip the circuit breaker and the owner promised to have this corrected. When the owner was contacted he responded quickly. (He lives next door.) Very convenient to downtown Orlando, and Winter Park. Very nice to have a garage for one car.

    Truely exceeded all expectations!! Beautiful home in a quaint neighborhood but so close everything!

    We just returned from a visit to College Park/Winter Park area. The Ivanhoe house was lovely and so much detail in the decor. The neighborhood and the view from the front porch just added to the feel of being back in time when everyone walked and spoke to their neighbors. We loved drinking coffee on the front porch watching all the dog walkers, baby strollers and kids riding their bikes. Michael quickly responded to any direction questions and even moved our check in time to accomodate our schedule. He lives next door and that really added to our peace of mind but we actually never even met face to face. We have done some VRBOs when you walk through the house with the owner/manager and it can sometimes be a little awkward and usually a time issue. Checking into Ivanhoe was as simple as getting an email from Michael, driving up to the house and walking in… The house is very well stocked and all new bedding. Anytime we needed anything (ziplock bag, hairdryer, coffee filters etc) it only took a moment to locate. Again, the neighborhood is wonderful and the house faces a lake boardered with oak trees. It is beautiful! There is a Publix within walking distance as well as coffee shops and restaurants.

    Great house in a brilliant neighborhood

    The house is very well maintained. Loved the neighborhood with all the Spanish Moss and the lake. Easy walking distance to restaurants and the Publix. The owner was easy to work with and had the house well prepared for our arrival. Would highly recommend for anyone that is looking for somplace quiet and relaxing in Orlando.
