The property itself is genuinely beautiful, but that is where the positives end.
The listing advertised a waterfront view — the lake was completely dried out and had clearly been that way for some time. The unit had a severe odor upon arrival, consistent with mold or sewage, which was never fully resolved during my stay. Breakfast was listed as an included amenity; the host's idea of fulfilling this was leaving single-serve boxes of cereal and Pop-Tarts with no milk. When I raised this, the follow-up was equally inadequate. An office space was advertised with photos in the listing — the host refused to provide access.
When issues were raised, the host was responsive but ineffective, and nothing was resolved to an acceptable standard. Vrbo had to get involved in order to get anything resolved.
If you are considering this property based on the waterfront listing or the included amenities, please verify both before booking. What is advertised and what is delivered are two very different things.
Please see attached photos of dried up lake, and amenity list that breakfast is included, and an office is provide provided with the printer and computer (but host says he does not allow access)
