Room for improvement.

I'll begin by saying that the house is large as we expected. The setup is good and the bedbunks are cool. The playroom (arcade) is also as billed. Our kids really enjoyed the racing. However, there were several challenges, some weren't addressed well that are significant enough to where I do not plan to utilize Vacasa again: 1) The home had no internet or TV (this is in addition to being a wireless dead zone). After 2 days, this was resolved and we were informed it was due to a power outage a few days prior. 2) We had 3 separate incidences of roaches. Vacasa did send a person to squirt areas, but this feels like an unsatisfactory long term solution. 3) The only day we were in the private pool, we had a pool cleaner come and ask us to get out for what ended up being 1 1/2 hours. We asked if he could come back later and he said no, we had to get out. After communicating this to Vacasa, it did not feel as though they were planning to schedule around guest schedules. Maybe this is common, but was new to me and very frustrating. 4) There are communications that the temperature 74-76F with a warning about we'll be charged if under 72F if it freezes up. I've had a lot of rentals and never experienced this warning at 72F. While not uncomfortable for me personally, my wife is pregnant and was quite uncomfortable for the duration of our stay.
