“Great small hotel. Breakfast every morning overlooking the lake was wonderful. The primary staff who was there was Alice and she was helpful and friendly. A couple things to note is this is about a 15 minute walk into town and 20 minutes to the train. If you have a lot of luggage, consider a taxi, the staff will arrange a taxi, just do that ahead of time. Getting from town to town was easy via the ferry. We were even shown into the breakfast room early on our last day and were able to take a packed breakfast for our journey. The breakfast was varied, and the restaurant was excellent in the evenings. “We enjoyed the Bologna house. It was high up on the hill and could only get there by taxi or bus. Very seldom were we able to find an available taxi and the bus just drove past where we stayed. When we called the property manager and said we were having trouble getting rides, he hung up on us. Property was nice but not a place I would return to.”
