Easily found hotel on the main road, therefore there is some traffic noise if you have a room at the front. Room was good, with a comfortable bed, and very clean. The lady and gentleman who checked us in/out were very friendly. The walk into town from the hotel is doable and fairly level, where you can then take the funicular up to the old town (just beware it closes early - 7.30pm when we visited in October).

Wonderful family-run hotel. Close to the highway, excellent cold breakfast with croissants, rolls, cakes, yoghurts, salami, fresh fruit.. Dinner hours are short but sufficient. It’s a long way from Texas, but i hope to stay there again.

Convenient and clean. Excellent service and breakfast buffet. Only minor negative is that the hotel is adjacent to a busy commuter train track, so you hear a “swoosh” occasionally, but not too bad once you get to sleep.

The owners (who owned a restaurant) offer an option for dinner, and their homemade food was delicious. The hosts go out of their way to make you comfortable and were warm and welcoming. We stayed in their newly renovated guesthouse with our own courtyard and it was lovely.

Mostly good

The staff was friendly and the restaurant had great food. The room was comfortable but we slept poorly. Noisy. Otherwise no complaints on the hotel. Location made it easy to get to parking and the funicular.

I stayed two nights while exploring the Orvieto area. The room was fine; clean and quiet. Although the a/c worked it didn’t matter what temperature it was set at. It could have been set at 24, 22, 16, or 14. The temp was always 21!

Chambre foncionnelle mais nécessitant une rénovation, en particulier la salle de bain (tuyau et pommeau de douche). Parking gratuit pratique. Demander une chambre ne donnant pas sur la route, le trafique est intense qui plus est avec les trains.

Ideal bei der Durchreise

Ideales Hotel für eine Übernachtung auf der Durchfahrt. Die Betten sind bequem, das Zimmer ist sauber, das Frühstück hat für jeden etwas dabei und man kann bis 02:00 Uhr einchecken. Ausserdem ist es sehr nahe von der Autobahn und trotzdem ruhig. Parkplatz hat es direkt vor dem Hotel (gehören zum Hotel).

Esperienza positiva

Hotel in posizione ottima a poca distanza dal casello autostradale di Orvieto. Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. La colazione è ottima sia dolce che salata. La camera pulita e letto confortevole. Consigliato per visitare Orvieto, si può lasciare la macchina al parcheggio della stazione ffss e andare su con la funicolare.

Hotel a conduzione famigliare nella zona di Orvieto scalo a una manciata di km dalla stazione del treno e dall'accesso alla funicolare per il centro storico, in una zona ricca di strutture ricettive, ristoranti e centri commerciali. Accoglienza calorosa, personale preparato e disponibile. Stanze essenziali ma pulitissime dotate di balconi. Colazione a buffet ricca e abbondante e attenzione per le intolleranze (a me avevano dedicato un piccolo reparto senza glutine). Il ristorante poi è stata una splendida scoperta: ottimi piatti della tradizione locale preparati con cura a prezzi davvero onesti.
