The Grand hotel was lovely. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They had extremely helpful ideas when we asked about restaurants, transportation, shopping and sightseeing. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We would stay there again.

If you are looking to stay in the center of Oslo in the city’s most classic hotel, then the Grand Hotel should be your choice. It’s not “brand new”, but it is clean and safe and elegant. And the Grand Café serves an excellent breakfast buffet. We were very happy with our weeklong stay.

Really nice hotel in a convenient location. The staffed worked hard to make a room change to one with a walk-in shower but none were available for the dates we required. The tub has a high side to step over and the tub is slippery. Need a mat or something to prevent slips and falls. The staff is amazing!

Great location. Otherwise, over priced for the quality of the rooms. It felt like a hotel that really wanted to be fancy but actually had old carpet, chipped paint on doors, and a small awkward room. Friendly staff.

Grand says it all!

Grand Hotel was stunning. Such obliging and friendly staff. Bed so comfy. Breakfast was extensive and our dinner at the Grand Cafe very enjoyable and don’t let the name deceive you. Level 8 roof top drinks, providing a spectacular view, were perfect after a day of walking and staff were helpful with cocktail selection. Hotel Grand is very centrally located.

The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. The lobby bar and library were ideal for meetings over tea or drinks. The rooftop bar added another dimension. The food was fantastic. The room was spacious and beds very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to business travelers.

The property was beautiful and the room was large for non/US standards. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom nice sized. Not a lot of counter space, but that's a bit expected. It was WARM in Oslo and the A/C was minimal. There was no fan, so we opened the windows. We were on the back side of the hotel and the noise was so significant that we got very little sleep. There were a number of stairs to be navigated and we each had a large suitcase and carry-on. Those were our only issues. Staff was lovely.

The hotel is full of history and wonderful. Everything was excellent except the shower drain being clogged which flooded our room.
