I along with my husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The staff was absolutely amazing, the room was very clean and comfortable and the location was also convenient. Just a few minutes walk to the train station to go to the city centre. The public transport system in Oslo is superb. Would highly recommend this hotel

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing hotel experience. We had been looking forward to our trip to Oslo for a long time and were especially excited to celebrate Norway’s National Day (17th of May) in the capital, so it’s extra disappointing that the hotel stay ended up affecting the trip negatively. We are not demanding guests at all, and every time we contacted the reception we did so politely and respectfully. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, but our room was NEVER cleaned during the entire stay — despite informing reception several times and hanging the cleaning sign on the door. One evening, after a long and tiring day, we had to reuse towels that should already have been replaced. We tried calling reception late in the evening, but no one answered. The next day, we had to ask a staff member cleaning another room further down the hallway for fresh towels ourselves. Honestly, the experience felt more like staying in a bed and breakfast without service than in a hotel. Very disappointing, because basic housekeeping and guest service should be expected during a hotel stay.

The price was good for Oslo. Tram was approx 15 min from city centre. Not much around the hotel tho , has a McDonald’s and supermarket but not much else. Breakfast was just ok , food not replenished when it run low .

First of all we only stayed there because our original hotel we had booked with Expedia ( Thon Hotel Rosenkranz) was inside the closed zone for the funeral of King Harald of Norway and we would not be able to get a taxi to the airport from there. We then booked the Radisson Blu outside of the downtown. It was $181 CDN more expensive and located in the middle of nowhere. The restaurant food was awful and very expensive.
