Tons of charm and great character. The room was comfortable and clean. The spa downstairs is really wonderful and the sauna was like new and got nice and hot. Much needed after a hard day of hiking. The bar and restaurant were good and the outdoor patio with heaters was great for unwinding and watching the sunset and mountains. Best of all was the staff. Super helpful and everyone is willing to go the extra mile to make sure their guests have the best possible experience. Shout out to Kelly - an absolute star!

The staff was very helpful and king. We were not aware the hotel did not have an elevator, and we were on the third floor. My wife does not do well with stairs, and the staff was able to move us down a floor on our second night. The spa area was included in our hotel stay and the extras offered in the rooms was excellent.

This hotel is beautiful! The biggest issue was a major design flaw in our room. There as a giant skylight which was cool when the sun was out, but when it came time to sleep it was absolutely terrible. There was no way to cover it and so it was bright as can be in the room. This caused my husband and I to be completely unable to sleep, and our kids to wake up at 3:30AM one morning and 4AM the other morning. Absolutely miserable. I would suggest asking specifically for a room without the skylight. There also isn’t an elevator, and again, we have two small kids so trekking up 3 steep flights of stairs with kids and all the luggage they require wasnt great. However if it’s just you or you’re in a couple I’m sure the spa is incredible and it’s a wonderful place to stay! Beautiful hotel, just not what we needed this trip.
