「My wife and I are travelling around our own backyard this year.( Atlantic Canada). We recently stayed at the Ye Olde Argyler Lodge, and fell in love with all that it offered Clean well kept rooms, excellent breakfast, knowledgeable and courteous staff, and an ocean view that is spectacular to say the least. We only stayed one night, however, it is our plans to return for a longer visit. Hats Off to Alana and her staff. Job well done. Angus and Sally Capstick Juniper Mountain, NS」

「There is a strong chemical smell constantly, maybe from the parking lot construction, but it was very unpleasant and even in our room. We asked for an extra blanket and were told there weren’t any left. The ac was awful.. if it was on it would kick on and off all night super loud and wake us up but if it was off it was uncomfortably warm. The breakfast was great and people working there were great. If you’re sensory sensitive like us with sound and smell this is not the place for you.」

「The rooms are very clean, and the beds bed’s are super cozy. The view from our room was spectacular, overlooking the bay. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Jason who booked us with that great room. The Rodd has a restaurant and lounge on site. Walking distance to all the shops and pubs in town. We definitely plan on visiting here again. Highly recommend this beautiful place!」

「This was my third time in three years staying here. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and courteous. Although the breakfast is not a full breakfast with bacon and eggs, it has a good selection of oatmeal, pastries, yogourt, fruit, hardboiled eggs and slices meats. And cereal and toast and bagels. If I return to the area next summer, I will consider this at the top of the list.」

「The hotel was great for a budget hotel. The only issue was coming into the parking lot there is a huge pothole that needs to be fixed asap. I was lucky not to damage the front end of my sport car which is low profile. Besides that issue it was a nice little spot.」

「Small and quiet motel on the lake. No staff present on checkin, but easy to do over the phone. Rooms are clean with recent flooring. Small flat screen TV on the wall. Staff was friendly when I met them. And easy to communicate with. Bbq on site to use as well.」
