“I mentioned we were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary when checking in (we got to chatting). We went up to our room, got ourselves settled, then went out for dinner and a drive around town to explore a bit. When we got back there was a cute little bag with a card in it congratulating us on 21 years of marriage and a bunch of snacks and a couple cans of pop. Super sweet. We loved it! :)”

“The room was disgusting. The floors weren't vacuum, or mopped. There were dirty shoe prints everywhere. The wood hadn't been dusted in a long time. The TV was wiped with a wet cloth so it was streaky. There were hardly any dishes in the kitchenette, one coffee mug, no plates. No dish soap, no coffee maker, as advertised. There was one towel for two people in a king bed room. We weren't even sure the sheets were clean. The security door at the back was broken and didn't lock. Hallways were……

“Fantastic experience!”

“For a quick place to stay it was good. Definitely not sound proof rooms but it was alright. The mattress definitely need to be replaced. Felt like I was sinking into the mattress. Rooms are small out everything was clean.”

“never book this hotel”

“The atmosphere, gourmet breakfast and character of the inn”

“Had a great stay. Highly recommended.”

“The property was immaculate! The rooms perfectly clean. The breakfast staff was very accommodating and the desk staff were always very professional and friendly.”

“Very nice, family run hotel. It is clean and close to some of the town’s highlights. It was a nice stay.”

“A friendly, family-run hotel that is clean and comfortable.”

“Beautiful scenery, clean room, cordial staff, dinner was great, parking sufficient. However, for the all the past hype we had heard the place needs a modernizing face lift to make it a 5 star.”

“The guy we dealt with to get a room and food was very hospitable… however the steaks were awful, there was no seasoning used, my wife ordered her well done. It was completely red from the inside. Mine was medium, rare as requested! A few of the wall plugs, didn’t work, the rug looked 100 years old very faded! The bedsheets were stained! The place needs a little more than just touchups on the paint which was done well, I love the vintage look. Even if that was kept, I think they should be some……

“Clean and comfortable. Good location close to everything. Was a good stay other than I ran out of toilet paper and Kleenex, went to the front desk to ask for more and the guy working there couldn’t find any?!?! Ridiculous I had to go to a local grocery store to buy my own!”

“The location was downtown, a short walk from the very centre of town as well as the museum and the beach. The host was friendly and very helpful, providing us with a map and advice. The bed was comfy and spotless. There was a coffee maker with everything necessary and although there was also a kettle, they forgot the teabags. And while there was plenty of soap, they forgot the shampoo. But altogether, the experience was excellent.”
