Im writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent stay, which resulted in a highly disappointing and disrupted experience for my family.
I had specifically booked a room at this location for a night away with my children, as well as to meet friends. A key reason for choosing your property was the advertised amenities, including a pool, exercise room, and breakfast. Unfortunately, upon arrival after a three-hour drive, we encountered multiple serious issues that were not acceptable for a paying guest.
To begin with, the hotel was extremely difficult to locate due to unclear signage, which initially directed us to an unrelated location. Upon finally arriving, we discovered that the hotel was under construction. The interior was filled with a visible cloud of drywall dust and a strong musty odor, creating an uncomfortable and concerning environment. At check-in, we were informed that the pool and exercise room were both closed, and that breakfast would not be provided as expected but instead offered in a bag. These were key amenities that directly influenced my booking decision and their unavailability was not communicated in advance. When we entered our room, the issues continued. The bathroom door would not close, and both my son and I began to feel unwell, likely due to the poor air quality caused by the construction dust.
