"Amazing room on the top floor,it was huge with a seperate living room. The view was not great but that didnt bother us as we were there to visit Blenheim Palace. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Parking is restricted so arrive early."
"Communication with Sophia was very good and the house very convenient for all that Woodstock has to offer.I was initially apprehensive to book this property as generally I wouldn't consider anything that doesn't show external photos (I like to know where I'm going and as a rule not showing the obvious tends to suggest something to hide) but I'm please I ignored my own instinct as location is perfect.A shared entrance with a very quiet flower shop to the front is a little odd and the layout of the communal spaces best described as quirky but cleanliness, quality of furnishings, and attention to detail were very good.We had no problem with parking our three cars nearby after unloading directly outside and instruction for access were very clear.Bedrooms and bathrooms all excellent. The downsides for us as a family that like to eat and socialise together was the lack of a formal dinning area suitable for the number of guests as the kitchen table seats 7 at best, stool seating at a slightly remote counter or the kitchen island meant we could still share the space but this is not somewhere to enjoy a leisurely Sunday lunch. The living room in the basement is also compromised due to small space and wouldn't seat a full house. If you want to stay in a lovely character property in an excellent location to explore the many Pubs and Restaurants close by this is a perfect base but if as a large family group you like to eat and sit communally 16 High Street would be a compromise."
