Oxford Stay

Very nice home. I was unable to see upper floors because of my 'disability', but our grown up children enjoyed the top of the house. We were delighted with the backyard patio for dinner & conversation in the evening. Close to the Thames and the towpath. One of our most important checks is a big dining room table which was perfect.

We booked this property for a wedding and it was ideal as we could put older people downstairs and have younger ones upstairs (though bear in mind you have to go upstairs to the kitchen and living rooms). There is a good size room for ‘dressing the bride’ and plenty of socialising space. We had a couple of niggles - the dustbins were overflowing & there were extra bags of rubbish in the parking area (the maintenance man came and removed some rubbish when we requested that something be done about it) & also we felt that the toiletries were rather sparse, the welcome pack was frugal and the there were only 2 dishwasher tablets which was disappointing for an expensive week-long stay. It would cost next to nothing to change that so that guests aren’t scrabbling around for soap etc.

Had a wonderful stay! House has everything you need, is clean and welcoming. In a great location to restaurants and a grocery store. Loved that there’s parking as well.
