“This was an excellent property, immaculate in fact, plenty of storage ,everything was spotlessly clean, modern and well maintained. Beautiful bedrooms , comfy beds, loads of storage again . Everything had been well thought out . Good enclosed garden great for our dog . Margaret the owner was very helpful , the property was in an excellent position for visiting the surrounding area and Kirk Hammerton itself was a beautiful village and we only wish we could have stayed longer !”

“Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has……

“Great location, close to town but in a quiet cul-de-sac. Lovely property, well maintained and decorated. Open plan lounge /kitchen downstairs. Very comfortable bed and good quality bedding and towels. Clean, modern bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer provided. Outdoor chairs provided to sit in the quiet courtyard in the front. Perfect property for a couple to visit York. Thanks for a great stay!”
