“Being rural and after a long day on the road, I didn’t quite know what to expect rolling down the winding driveway. What unfolded as I entered the property was a welcoming home surrounded by a mixed treed & pastured sloping landscape looking south to Lake Francois. Horses, cows, pigs, chickens all happily going a out their lives in free range enclosures. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Cheryl, is a lovely host and fully represents the wonderful vibe of the property. ……

“We loved this cute stay! It reminded me of my grandparents home. Lots of character and cowboy charm. If you embrace retro and love times past, this is definitely your vibe. Also has a BBQ, fire pit, and corn hole game in the back yard which we loved. No internet, so come prepared to unplug! ”

“My wife and I chose this peaceful, private farm retreat as our base camp to explore the Palouse Falls and surrounding area. Located in a picturesque valley, this home, a cowboy retreat, is comfortable and surrounded only by the sounds made by grazing sheep, cattle, horses, and flocks of geese. “It was a great house to stay in. It accommodated all 12 of us that stayed there easily. It was very clean and looked just like the pictures. We did have to change room plans a little due to the stairs to the upstairs being steep but nothing major. They are typical old farmhouse stairs. We enjoyed a peaceful walk our first night there down the road. We will definitely be keeping this house on our list if we ever make it back out that way! ”

“Our stay was great. We went to Crater Lake NP for the day. About an hour away from the trail further from us. The house and all the extras (lotion, condiments, bottle water, etc) were such a nice place to relax. For sure, we would stay again.”
