Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ottumwa by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Great friendly and attentive staff at check in and during my stay. The breakfast was better than expected, except the pancake making didn't work. Love the days when Bacon was available.....LOVE LOVE LOVE BACAON. Room was clean and comfortable. Cleaned a few times during my week of stay, which was plenty. I would recommend this hotel"

Best Western Ottumwa Inn & Suites

"**Outstanding Customer Service – Thank You, Victor!** Victor provided exceptional customer service during our stay at Best Western Ottumwa Inn & Suites. He was incredibly helpful, supportive, and cooperative, and went above and beyond to assist us whenever we needed help. His kindness, patience, and willingness to help made a real difference in our experience. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about guests and does everything possible to make their stay comfortable and stress-free. Victor is a great example of outstanding hospitality and customer service. Thank you, Victor, for all your help and support. You truly made our stay a much better experience! Best Western is lucky to have such a dedicated and wonderful team member. Highly recommended!"

The Artist's Secret Garden

8/10 Good

"Easy to find and check in. The apartment was historic, and the art was beautiful. The place was clean, felt like home immediately, was well maintained, and kitchen and bathroom amenities were bountiful. Internet wifi was fast (I had to upload large video files and did so quickly). I appreciated the communication prior to check in, and the written instructions and local tips in the host's guide book. Downtown was a quick 8 minute walk and very safe for female traveling alone. There are several great options for eating and shopping in the downtown area, including vegetarian food at the Mexican restaurant and Ethiopian lunch at the conference hall. The only complaint was the sound of a child running and jumping upstairs after 8:00 PM, which I would have expected if I had known a family with young children lived upstairs in the old house with wood floors. However, if one is used to that, it is a perfect stay!"

Luxury Downtown Loft w/ Rooftop Patio & Sauna - Sleeps 12 - Walk to Square

10/10 Excellent

"The loft was in an ideal location, right on the town square. The rooms are huge and are actually nicer and bigger than the pictures suggest.Patio was nice with a trampoline!More than enough room for 4 couples and a few kids. The great room was fantastic, with a ton on natural light and comfy seats.Would definitely stay there again. Reasonably priced, particularly when shared with others.Enjoyed our stay.Make sure you read the instructions when you arrive, as there are a few quirks with light switches and this sort of thing.I messaged the host a few times with questions and he answered within minutes.Overall, a wonderful experience in this beautiful Fairfield loft."

Cozy Cottage

10/10 Excellent

"This little house is perfect for a stay of a couple of days or a month. All the amenities of home. Everything needed was there. The TV actually had channels, and the internet worked properly. Plus extremely clean and comfortable. No cheap, crappy, uncomfortable furniture or beds here. Very good quality reclining couches in the living room and very comfortable beds. Plus, my wife thought it was decorated adorably. Ceiling fans in every room, which was important to us. I could live there permanently. The hosts were very quick to answer a couple of questions I had."

The Artist's Treehouse

10/10 Excellent

"This is a wonderful place. It is a cozy but towering space. The loft has what feels like a secret cave into an even cozier space. There is a huge back deck overlooking a wonderful yard. Although this is a private apartment space in a large house holding multiple spaces, it felt like we were all alone. We loved it. Communication was friendly and simple. The hosts were very accomodating. We can't wait to come back :)"
