Air Conditioning

With the exception of room temperature everything was excellent. The air conditioning was very poor in fact the temperature was dibilitating. The temp outside was 32 degrees the inside was even higher and at night we couldn’t sleep. Pity because other than that it was real value for money.

Seminarunterkunft mehr aber auch nicht!!

Das beste an dieser Unterkunft ist die zentrale Lage in der Innenstadt, die man von dort gut erkunden kann. Diese Unterkunft als Hotel zu bezeichnen verbietet sich eigentlich von selbst. Gebucht hatten wir ein Doppelzimmer schon Monate im Voraus und nahmen an, auch ein Zimmer entsprechend des Bildes im Internet zu erhalten. Uns wurde ein Zimmer zugeteilt, das sich als kleines Einzelzimmer herausstellte in das man ein Zusatzliege gestellt hatte. Dadurch ergab sich in der Mitte des Zimmers noch ein Gang von einem Meter und das war es auch schon. Ein kleines Bad und ein kleiner Schreibtisch zierten das ganze. Nach dem wir unseren Unmut darüber äußerten hielten wir nach einigem hin un her, was uns als Bittsteller erschienen ließ, eine Behinderten Einheit. Diese bestand aus zwei mit einer Tür verbundenen Räumen und einem Behinderten Bad. Das war natürlich nicht das was wir uns vorgestellt und gebucht hatten um URLAUB zu machen. Der Zimmerservice wurde mehr schlecht als recht erledigt. Aufgrund der Bauweise die dem Alter des Gebäudes geschuldet ist und dem außergewöhnlichen Sommer, war es in den Hotelzimmern unerträglich heiß. Daher durfte man sich kostenlos am Kühlschrank der im Eingangsbereich stand kostenlos mit Mineralwasser versorgen. Parkplätze waren zwar einige wenige vorhanden, die hätte man aber vorab buchen müssen teilte man uns bei ANKuNFT mit. Das Frühstück, welches zugebucht werden musste war gut und sein Geld wert!

Nice Hotel

Nice hotel not far from the centre of Paderborn (5 ~ 10 minutes walk) with restaurants virtually around the corner. Also has a key safe for after hours checkin and a snack/drinks area based on an honesty system. Friendly staff.

Schöne Aussicht, gute Lage, prima Service

Ich war im November 2017 zwei Nächte im IN VIA und es war, wie immer, prima. Ich musste Sonntagnachmittag einchecken und zu dieser Zeit ist die Rezeption nicht besetzt: alles kein Problem. Ich bekam vor der Anreise einen PIN-Code, mit dem ich an Ort und Stelle meine Schlüssel aus einem Schließfach nehmen konnte. War sehr zufrieden auch mit meinem Zimmer und komme bestimmt wieder.

Das Hotel liegt super zentral, das Personal äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück reichlich, für den Preis unschlagbar. Der Autostellplatz sehr praktisch . Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in stadtnahem Hotel

Das Hotel ist gut ausgeschildert und damit leicht zu finden, obwohl es etwas versteckt liegt. Parken neben dem Hotel ist möglich, aber sehr teuer. Tipp: Auf dem Maspernplatz parken. Der Empfang der Mitarbeiterin war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, auf Fragen wurde kompetent geantwortet. Das Zimmer war relativ klein, mit zwei einzelnen Betten, die man aber zusammen stellen konnte. Sauberkeit war sehr gut, auch im gepflegten Bad. Eine große Flasche Wasser gab es kostenlos. Unten in der Lobby gibt es Kaffee, Getränke und Snacks. Bezahlt wird in eine Kassette. Den Kunden wird viel Vertrauen entgegegengebracht. Sehr gut! Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Zentrumsnah / das war's aber auch

Beim Check-In sollte eigentlich jeder Gast gefragt werden, ob man WLAN-Zugang benötigt. Trotz moderaten Außentemperaturen um 20° C war das Zimmer überhitzt. Wegen der angeblich vorhandenen Lüftung soll das Fenster geschlossen bleiben; was sich wegen der nahen Ringstraße ohnehin anbietet. Das Bett knarrte bei jeder Bewegung. An erholsamen Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Das Angebot beim Frühstücks-Büffet war zufriedenstellend; das Personal sollte sich nicht nur nach der Zimmernummer erkundigen, sondern besonders welches Getränk der Gast möchte. Ich habe mir die Thermoskanne vom Nachbar-Tisch genommen. Beim Check-Out musste ich den Mitarbeiter darauf aufmerksam machen, dass ich einen Parkplatz gebucht hatte.

Clean and friendly stafd

This was a safe place to stay also alone. The staff at the front desk was very helpful when it came to finding the bus stop/closest supermarket (which by the way is located 5min walking distance!). The room was clean and comfy, and especially the bed had good hygiene and was comfortable. Same goes for the bathroom, very neat. The room was spacy and had a big window which is good for fresh air during the night. The only con I would say for a lone traveler is that it is a little bit walking distance from the centre (~10min), which can be uncomfortable to walk by yourself at night because the streets seem quiet, but otherwise I warmly recommend for someone who wants to find a relaxing place to stay. The breakfast buffet cost 5,90€, and was OK for that price, nothing special. Thank you In Via Hotel for making my stay enjoyable!

Simple and functional for a very short stay. Unusual having an accessible bathroom :) The motion detection for the bathroom light/fan was set very short and so turned off many times whilst behind the shower curtain! Parking may be an issue for some

Hotel war nur wenige Gehminuten von der Innenstadt entfernt. Zimmer waren sauber und mit kostenlosem Sky-TV ausgestattet. Badezimmer war etwas klein. Zimmer und Hotel waren in sauberem Zustand.
