This listing is very clear this is a small cottage, and it is, but it was a lovely base for our holiday and very well-presented. Very good Comms with the owner too, thank you!
Property was clean and tidy and in a great location near to the beach.
Excellent communication with Nicky who was always polite and welcoming in every email.
Absolutely charming little cottage in the heart of Trevone. We would come back any time. Three minutes to the Coastal Walk. Safe distance away from the hustle of Padstow.
We had a lovely stay at your cottage enjoyed lovely walking and beach was fantastic. As we also live in a late 1800 cottage we know about cosyness. We will definitely return in the future
We enjoyed a lovely week of relaxation, walks and beach activities in Trevone. Old cottage is a lovely little cottage that gave us a great ‘home from home’. The facilities were exactly as described and we had no issues at all. We very much hope to come back again!
We had a lovely stay at Old cottage. We love holidaying in Trevone but are finding it increasingly hard to find properties in our budget. We felt the cottage was good value for money it’s small but has everything you need and great for anyone with a young family like ours. It was very clean and we loved being close to the beach.
Excellent location, only a 10mins walk to Trevone Bay beach. Lovely quirky atmospheric cottage and nice yard to soak up the setting sun rays. Had a nice stay and would definitely use again. The only downfalls is lack of parking and also when we went to use the bbq it obviously had not been cleaned for a while and ended up cooking in oven.
Excellent location only 10 minutes walk to the lovely beach. Quirky cottage with everything you need the beams are low but wasn’t a problem for us at 5ft8 any taller maybe so
The only downside was the water pressure you can’t have a shower and use the tap at the same time but that didn’t spoil the holiday

Lovely Cornish cottage in the heart of Trevone village
We enjoyed a lovely weekend at the cottage in December. The owner has created a charming home here, it's complete with original features. A great base to explore Padstow and around the north Cornish coast. We love Trevone for family holidays with our children - sandy beach is perfect for body boarding and surfing. It has a great cafe and surf shop. Rocky beach is great for dog walks year round, offers it's own natural swimming pool. Less than a minutes walk from the cottage is a farm shop offering a superb selection of local produce. From trevone we've walked to padstow, harlyn bay and Constantine beaches, all were superb. Thanks Nicky, for providing a lovely stay, we'll be back :-) The Portlock family

Best holiday in the U.K. ever.
We stayed at Old Cottage the last 2 weeks of July 2018, we were so lucky having uninterrupted sunshine everyday.
Old Cottage was gorgeous it was equipped with everything you needed for your holiday a true home away from home and we cannot thank Nicky enough for letting us stay there in her beautiful home.
Good sized lounge, kitchen, bathroom and two good sized bedrooms were perfect for my husband, my 2 daughters and myself.
Located a 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach of Trevone and a 5 minute drive from Padstow.
We had great walks in the morning and enjoyed the most fantastic sunsets in the evenings.
The farm shop is just across the road and there is a shop and restaurant on the beach.
Nicky was fantastic and made booking, arrival and departure so easy.
We will definitely be back to Old Cottage we said that we would live there permanently if we had the chance, what a life that would be.
We had a wonderful stay at Old Cottage. Everything we needed and perfectly clean. Very short walk to the amazing beach. Lovely back garden and barbecue much appreciated. We had fabulous weather too!
Finding somewhere to stay out of season is always a challenge but we definitely lucked out. We had everything that was needed in the cottage for the week and it ws very homely and cosy. Fantastically situated for Trevone Beach as well as for Padstow with a great cafe in Trevone and Farm shop as well as a pub. We really enjoyed our stay
On the second day of our holiday we experienced a substantial flood in the kitchen of the property. The water was pouring from the ceiling, it was incredibly stressful as we didn’t know how it had happened. We had to involve the neighbour and phone the owner. We had to vacate the property late at night as it was dangerous and stay in a Travel Lodge and then re locate to another property down South. This was the only property available an hour away from our original cottage. I had booked restaurants and activities for the children which all had to be cancelled. I could then not get any availability for restaurants down South at all due to it being so busy. As you can imagine this ruined our whole week and upset me. The owner paid for the property down South and for the travel lodge and also £230 as goodwill. I feel we should have had full compensation for the cost of the cottage or a weeks stay in the future. I understand this was not the owners fault but it also ruined our holiday and it would have made us feel a lot better if we had full compensation or a weeks stay next year. I’m sure the holiday would have be perfect if the flood had not occurred. The cottage was clean, beautiful and in a great location, I guess we were the unlucky ones.
