Staff was rude. Arrived at 7:30 pm and she didn't know if she had a room ready. She yelled at my husband when we asked if we could get a refund and go somewhere else. She said no. I should have called Expedia and got the refund. Run down. We had been traveling all day. Not as advertised.

Super awesome check in, and a very nice gentleman. Parking with difficult with construction trucks with equipment, but otherwise fine. Room was clean for the most part.

Parking out front was small. Around the back looked unsafe (next to woods end places for escape). Walls needed paint (entire facility) Bathroom was poor - dirty caulk around tub - ceiling paint falling. Carpet was old and needs replacement. TV remote was dirty and sticky. Will not stay there again. Selected based on reviews of 7.0, which was wrong. Staff was not available at the front desk to discuss. Coffee machine was broken - so I left to get some at the gas station.

The room was spacious and clean. No cups for coffee in the room. Breakfast was lacking as the person at the front desk was also the one making breakfast. Not a bad choice for the money but not a 5 star stay.

When we checked in the desk clerk was hateful and absolutely not welcoming. We asked for rooms next to each other. He put us down the hall. There were 10 cars in the parking lot. We asked if he could turn the lights on in the dining area so we could play cards after we got settled. He said he would have to ask. I said ok, I’ll check back w you. I asked again when we left to eat dinner, same answer. Again when we got back, same answer. The first room we checked into toilet was stopped up. He upgraded us to a better room that the sink was stopped up in and the toilet ran all night. Next morning he was putting out breakfast when I went down to get coffee at 6:45. He rudely told me breakfast wasn’t until 7. I said I’m just getting coffee. He repeated hinself and I said IM GETTING COFFEE. It was ready and I got a cup. I wpuld not stay at that place again if you paid me. We played cards in the lobby after moving a table. While we were doing so, 3 other people complained about their room.

Poor breakfast. No fresh fruit by 0800 when we got to breakfast. Ac was ok. The light over the sink was burned out when we checked in and they did not fix it in the 5 nights we stayed despite telling them day 1.

Desk clerk was rude! It says there is a possibility of a deposit upon arrival if you live within 60 miles of the hotel on here. It didn't say how much the deposit would be (it does now because they updated it later) or that they wanted $250 IN CASH even though it says they don't accept cash! We live 45 minutes away but were staying there for our son's surgery the next morning. They didn't explain the deposit or try to calmly explain anything. The clerk was rude and told us "That's just the way it is and every hotel in Paducah does this". That was in fact, not true. We weren't going to stay somewhere with someone so rude, and we weren't staying somewhere that didn't clearly state the amount of said deposit or that he said they needed this deposit in cash when they aren't supposed to even take cash. Plus, the Comfort Inn looked completely run down and was in a sketchy area We ended up leaving, and going to the Holiday Inn (still in Paducah). They DID NOT charge a deposit at all. None! They said hotels used to charge the deposit to cover for damages from people coming to town, partying, making a huge mess/ breaking things and then leaving. If the clerk at the Comfort Inn would've explained this, it would have been a different situation. There was absolutely no reason for his attitude! We were happier paying for another hotel room instead of being there. The Holiday Inn was well worth it. I wish I could give them zero stars. Do NOT recommend! Save yourself, stay elsewhere!
