Well designed and well appointed home

Peaceful and relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is close enough to town but far enough away to really relax and enjoy nature. The master bedroom, living and dining room have the most amazing forest views where we enjoyed the wild Turkey and deer that walked by. Waking up in the master bedroom was like waking up camping in the forest but without the tent! We will definitely be back again!

Anniversary Trip

Beautiful home in the woods

What a beautiful home in the woods. They have everything you need. I was surprised they even have a pressure cooker. The house was clean. The communication with the manager and owner was on top. We had a problem with the water heater that was resolved immediately and we had hot water in no time. We really enjoyed our time in the property. Definitely recommend this place if you’re going to Pagosa Springs. I’ll definitely will look for this property again. Love the place.

Great Modern House

House was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. Management company was extremely easy to work with and had great communication. House was not far from restaurants and downtown Pagosa, a little bit farther away from Wal-Mart. All and all a great place and we would definitely stay again!

This was one of the best rental properties I’ve ever stayed in. It was modern, extremely clean and very well equipped and accommodating. We say wildlife in the backyard every day and while it’s remote it’s still conveniently located to town. Lori the property manager was amazing from booking to checkout and beyond. We had a couple of minor issues but she responded quickly with resolution. You will love this property!

Great stay, but water problem

The property was very nice and overall our stay was good. One problem is that the neighborhood was affected by a water main issue that lasted for a day. However, it appears the issue happened once before as well. I understand the water supply is out of the property management's control and the manager did organize the ability for us to use another rental's bathroom. But I would have expected a credit or some refund offered for our trouble, especially given the cost of the rental.

Kitchen needs attention

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hello, most of the house was exceptional ,however, several cookware items had food still on them. We cleaned the ones we needed to use but I think there is still a skillet that has egg or something on it. While cooking our first meal I kept getting oil in the pot and thought it was coming from some part that might still be dirty until I realized the vent was dripping. The vent was so dirty grease was dripping on the stove and food in several spots. We cleaned all the vent filters and the vent as best we could and had no more issues. Quite a lot of grease/oil was inside the vent hood.

Modern Cabin Juxtaposed to the Rugged San Juan River

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an outstanding place for our July 4th getaway. It served as base camp for our crew that allowed quick access to the highways to get to Pagosa Springs (5-7 mins away), Treasure Falls (20 mins or so) Big Meadow Reservoir and Williams Creek Reservoir (60 mins or so). Beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of room for our crew of 6 when we weren’t out enjoying Pagosa. A++ on the service and available amenities at the cabin. The property manger helped us save on rafting in Durango and had great options around Pagosa. The only miss at this place was the lack of ventilation or being able to move the air around the cabin. We were there the week of the 4th and it was warm for Colorado (mid 80s) the large, west facing windows provide stunning views to the valley to the west, but they also let in radiant heat (even with the shades down). We left the windows open and the fans on all day, but there was little breeze to help out. Now, this wasn’t a huge deal as we were out of the cabin most of the day, the letdown was in the evening when it took a while to cool down the bedrooms (master more than the others). Almost everything about this cabin was outstanding, I just think the owner missed an opportunity to make a clean sweep with this oversight.Would 100% recommend you putting this on your have-to-stay places in Pagosa Springs.

Perfect Last Minute Get A Way

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed in this rental for 3 nights. The house was incredibly clean. The beds were comfortable to us (memory foam type mattresses). The kitchen was very well stocked (cooking oils, spices, cookware, etc.). The internet was a little slow but considering its satellite-based that's to be expected (it was adequate for streaming with a little buffering). The location was great, it's located in the back of the subdivision, so it was very quiet. The property is surrounded by tall pines which do somewhat block the views of the mountains, but the sunsets are incredible through the trees. The roads leading to the property are not paved, so they are a bit rough in places, nothing major if you take your time. The host was very responsive and quickly arranged for a minor maintenance issue to be addressed. Garage access is not allowed but there was plenty of parking in front. When staying here be sure to visit the wildlife sanctuary about 2 miles away, it was a fantastic experience! Overall, this is a beautiful property and super relaxing, we'll be back!

Feels like home!

Great house, amazing beds, very clean. A few little things like no hot water for the first evening and full trash cans. Before check-in we got a little worried as we were copied on a mass text about check in instructions with other renters on the same feed. The host company took care of all the issues with 24 hours. Would love to stay again soon!

Beautiful new home in a secluded community.

We couldn’t have been more comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well appointed. New construction in a beautiful setting. Short drive to town and drive to Wolf Creek is no problem.
