  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. Excellent setup for group gathering. we were there for skiing and the garage entrance is excellent for handling gear.

Good stay.

Good stay , nice big cabin , loved the porch and view. Dryer needs some attention, microwave was out but was replaced before checkout. No AC but that was not a problem as we used a small fan at night and temps dropped to cool during night time. Lots of sleeping places. Good for a large family.

good place

cleaning crew between guests could do a better job. There was a wad of hair on the drain in the walk in shower, cobwebs in doorway kitchen/dining door, cobwebs in light fixture above dining table, popcorn under edge of ottoman. Not horrible but I expect more in a place I am renting. I would stay here again.
