「Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!」

「The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar area and outside firepit area. Everything seemed clean and neat. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I booked a room with two double beds via Expedia and received a confirmation back that the room had two double beds. When I called the hotel, however, they said there were no rooms with two double beds and instead the room had one double bed and pull-out couch with could serve as another bed if needed. I said that is not what I booked...

「Nice clean and comfortable room. The Beekman toiletries were a nice touch. The only issue is the electrical outlet in the bathroom was too far away from the mirror over the sink. This was the only mirror in the room so I couldn’t use hair dryer or curling iron. The room use another mirror somewhere near an electrical outlet. As a side note, the electrical outlet in the bathroom didn’t work at all anyway.」
