nightmare holiday

the apartment is situated in a building which is next to a worksite, they refurbishing are entire building from top to bottom. apart from week ends days, we were woken up EVERY DAY at 7.30 to the noise of drilling, exactly behind the wall of the apartment. the noise was so loud that the apartment walls were trembling (we measured the sound and it was over 100db). so every morning, we had to get out as soon as possible because of the intensity of the noise. the company managing the appartement refused to relocate us and gave us a 12% discount on the price for all we went through. our holiday was ruined and I don't recommend renting the apartment because the construction is just starting, so it will go on for a long time.
