We loved this home!
Seven of us, ages 15 through 61, stayed for a week in the end of June. We had a fantastic time! The home was well stocked with everything we needed: toiletries, paper products, kitchen cleaning essentials, and beach gear. The pool was not heated during our stay but the temperature was perfect! Not too cool and you could jump right in.
The main master bedroom, main living quarters, kitchen, and a half bath are upstairs. Two en-suite bedrooms, the bunk room, a full bath, laundry room, and a cozy living area are downstairs. The master bed was extremely comfortable, medium firmness, soft but very supportive. We rested well every night.
There were plenty of extra towels, including beach towels. There was a plethora of beach supplies in the garage including chairs, a pop-up, toys, and a cart to tote everything in. Just be aware that you will need to have a few able bodies to carry the cart down the stairs from the boardwalk to the beach. However, we found that the house was so close to the beach it was far more convenient not to tote any unnecessary stuff.
The area is lovely. There is a small Publix and an amazing pizza place, Bronx House, within a few miles. Over the bridge is more shopping. Make sure you go to Twisters; delicious!
We always had plenty of room on the beach. The other nearby beaches were the same; beautiful to visit. Washington Oaks State Park was a favorite. We highly recommend this home if you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation.
