"Place was a renovated old motel style hotel from probably the 50s or 60's. Very well done, extremely clean place as well. Obviously they put alot into the cleanliness. Pool area very nice. But not in the best area of town, which is not their fault, but it is not a nice area to walk around in on most sides. It does connect via a main road to a main dining area with restaurants, etc. So that was nice to be walking distance. Overall an above average place that can't help certain things about itself but overall is worth the money and we would return."

"Our stay at Riviera Palm Springs started with a very frustrating check-in experience. We arrived at 3:30 PM, just before the 4:00 PM check-in, and were told our room would be ready in 40 minutes. We agreed to wait. After more than an hour with no update, I returned to the front desk and was simply asked if I received a text. When I said no, I was told the room was still not ready—no apology, no explanation, and no effort to assist. I even offered to take any available room just to avoid waiting longer, but there was no urgency or proper accommodation. This is unacceptable, especially since we booked in advance. With an 11:00 AM check-out, there is ample time to prepare rooms. When we were finally given a room, it had a very poor view that did not match expectations. I have video proof. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service was disappointing. I am requesting a partial refund or compensation for this experience."

"My partner and I stayed in the Upper Stories where we were granted our request for a Mountain View facing the steeper San Jacinto mountains on the West side. It was definitely worth it and special thanks to Concierge Verne for looking out on this request. One drawback: no bar service at the pool for Upper Stories (no plan to bring it back anytime soon either according to my convo with bar at Lola Rose) so we basically only did the Main pool which was the most spectacular and scenic experience, but get there early like 9-10 am early to save seats Thi-Sat. Sun was more mellow and seats do open up again around 3. Everything from the DJs on Saturday and Sunday to the bartenders and servers and manager Maurice was just top notch. Big props to Abel who took such great care of us over our 5 day stay. Really the service here was like icing on the cake and the entire stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend. If you’re torn between Upper Stories and main areas, the Main resort has rooms with great views too just not as many to my knowledge. If you can get a view in the main area, take the energy unless you just want totally quiet do Upper Stories. Pool there is great if you plan to be sober or want to carry Togo cups back and forth from the Lola Rose bar just a short walking distance away. Oh and food btw, really damn good. Nice selection of pool side bites. Lola Rose was great for quick pre-drinks and healthy apps before dinner and Bar Issi downstairs has the best happy hour. "

"I chose this hotel not only for the good reviews but number one reason is that it offered a heated pool, I was very disappointed due to the 2 day stay not once was I able to enjoy the pool, the pool was so cold every adult around the pool complained on how cold the water was in the pool, no one was enjoying the pool, the room was a disappointment also, as soon as we opened the door there was a big stain like it would have been from some one who throw up and it wasn’t cleaned very well, the rest of the carpet was very stained and dirty, the rug needed to be replaced, I paid a lot for the 2 day stay, I should have stayed at the Travelodge down the street for a lot less money and just as terrible as this place, people beware, don’t be fooled like I was, never again will I and my friends stay here!!!😡"

"The hotel is clean, the staff was friendly, and the hotel is located in the prime location near dining and nightlife options. However, light sleepers should know that bars nearby are loud and easily heard by hotel patrons both in and outside of the hotel rooms. If you can handle that, then I recommend this hotel. "
