We booked a 2 queen beds for 2 adults and 2 kids. Up on checking in we were told they don’t have our request room, only 1 king bed and pull out sofa bed. Went to our room after 30min of unpacking and settling to get ready for bedtime, the ceiling was covered with so many misquotes, we couldn’t believe it. We had to move to a different room. The sofa bed so super uncomfortable my kids complained all night. Their mattress was super thin and felt all the hard metal rods. Everything was outdated and old. Other than those issues, staff was great. Breakfast place was really good. I don’t think we’d stay here again.

We visited for one night during Coachella weekend, so there was definitely a “Coachella tax,” but the property still felt calm, well-managed, and upscale. This was a family/work trip, and we chose the hotel for the kid-friendly water features (ages 8 and 3). The room was dated but very clean—I could tell by how clean my kids’ feet stayed after running around barefoot. The king room had a pull-out couch, a big plus. The hotel accommodated our request for a ground-floor room with easy access to the main areas. Being able to walk from our patio to the restaurants in about two minutes made things much easier with kids. The “water park” is more of a nice kids pool and splash pad than a full water park, but the kids still had a great time. Poolside service was great. The kids ordered chicken tenders and fries—portions were generous and they enjoyed it. We were excited about the breakfast buffet. Pricing was reasonable for kids, though the food options for adults were not super exciting. What really stood out, though, was the staff—everyone was friendly, patient and accommodating. From the front desk, to restaurant staff, to bellman, to security, to poolside staff - they all offered a level of service made a lasting impression. The only thing that really took the experience down were the several mosquitoes and a moth in the room, possibly due to our room’s proximity to the lake. Had the room been more updated without pests, this would’ve easily been a 5 star stay.

Staff at the resort were amazing. From the front desk staff to the life guards all were nice amd always had a smile on their faces. Not to forget helpful. The property was clean and very well kept. The rooms on the other hand were a bit dated The bathroom definately needs some work done. Overall our stay was pleasant.

Clean and spacious rooms. Amenities were great and food was delicious. We stayed for Coachella and they had delicious late night food available that was perfect after a long day at a festival. I would definitely stay here again!

This place needs a make over and some! This is a 3 star hotel with 5 star prices - find somewhere else! We had an end unit with and the room had black out curtains - great for a good nights sleep… oh, but there’s another window that has a blind that lets the sun in at sunrise — go figure?! The bathroom is small and poorly appointed. Check in was terrible and slow - not enough staff on, even though they knew it would be busy. The adult pool is situated just below a nice patio that serves breakfast and brunch to all customers - those that could stand heavy house and trance blasting at 10+ would be the ones that are and stayed I guess. Paying this much for a room is daylight robbery. Very unhappy customer

We booked this resort during Spring break to have a pool vacation. During this time, the family pools were completely overcrowded each time we went. We also did not receive housekeeping regularly (we had not opted out) except once by special request when they had not been by for two days. We were a family of four, and all we wanted was a refreshed room and to relax by the pool, neither of which happened.

My family and I stayed in the traditional 2 queen bed room. The staff (front desk, housing keeping and those in golf carts) is quite helpful and very professional. Space near room entrance looked messy. It could’ve been covered well or kept neatly. Bathroom & shower fittings were loose and shaky. It was quite a challenge to lock sliding door in bathroom. Room is not bright and shiny as compared with rooms in other hotels. They’ve a wonderful pool. Lazy river is excellent. Omni is a wonderful resort with many cool features except for the hotel room. Overall it is not a great value for the money per my experience. I hope the hotel management and staff fix the above issues. My family and I are looking forward to stay at Omni during our next visit to Palm Springs!

This property is perfect for families with kids, and nice for everyone. The food and drinks were pretty good by the pool. We got to see ducks and other birds. My son enjoyed bringing his tricycle and riding around the property. We will definitely return for a future Spring Break.

Was looking for an elegant hotel for two days after our week of California travel. Was hoping to relax poolside. Traveled with my husband and two teenage sons. The family pool was overcrowded. There were no chairs to be had on day one check in. We went over to a quieter pool in the front. We stayed there three hours, having lunch and drinks while we waited for our room. Our room was late to be ready, but we were relaxed, so our late room was not a problem. However, three hours in, the pool manager told us we had to leave because it was an adult only pool. My sons are 13 and 17. They had been quietly relaxing in their phones. No one told us this the entire afternoon. In fact, many other younger kids had been in the pool throughout the day. The staff supplied us lunch and drinks without a problem. At 4 pm, the pool manager confronted us, and said the boys had to leave since the pool area was getting crowded. However, it was the opposite. People were leaving for dinner. We told him our room wasn’t ready, and we had no where else to on since the other pool was overrun with small kids and children. It was a splash pool. The pool manager threatened us with security. At that point, I just wanted to leave. Our room was late, service took a long time. There was only one server bringing food and drinks out. We waited over an hour for drinks. Yet we hadn’t complained until the manager asked my sons to leave. Another manager offered us free dinner, but we cancelled both reservations.

The first room we were given was very dirty and was also an ADA room which we did not request. We were not asked if we wanted this type of room. The hotel is generally old and okay for conferences but definitely not worth the price when compared with the Westin nearby. The outdoor gardens are well maintained and the hotel looks best at night when you can’t see the aging buildings and dreary exterior. We expected a lot more for the price.

I paid $3000 for a jointing rooms. Our view was dead grass. I have been coming here 15 years and they never upgrade. Front desk people are always rude. You will never get a room before 4pm or later.
