Disappointed

The neighborhood and the beach were great. And that is where we spent most of our time. But the house left something to be desired. Upon checking in, we discovered the third floor had not been cleaned at all. A cleaning crew had to come and change all the sheets and actually vacuum the floors to finish cleaning the property. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only issue. Also during Roaches throughout the house. We called the property manager and they put in for an exterminator to come out but in the seven days that we were there, nobody did. Despite multiple calls back to the property manager no exterminator was ever sent out. In addition to that, the property Not very well-maintained. A doorhandle fell off the master Bedroom, bathroom door, a towel rack fell off the wall in another room, the chairs in the dining area and barstools were falling apart. Another frustration was that the refrigerator at the property did not cool. We had to actually take all the groceries that we purchased for the week and have them moved to another house to avoid them spoiling. In defense ocean reef properties was easy to get a hold of, and offered solutions to most of these problems. However, I would be very cautious on renting this property in the future. We also Noticed while on vacation that the property was for sale. Maybe that’s why they are not doing a very good job keeping it up?

Beautiful Beach Community

Very comfortable house in a quiet, private beach community. It was only a short walk through the community to the beautiful sandy beach.

Great Location

This place is in a wonderful location. Beach access was a breeze. The only thing f guests should be aware of is that the property’s kitchen was less than well stocked. Example: there were 3 glasses and we had to go buy a spatula for cooking.

Wonderful escape

We really enjoyed our time at Carillon Beach. Coast Awhile was a short walk to beach access, tennis courts and pool. My wife enjoyed her early morning coffee on the front porch with a beautiful garden setting. The house had ample space for our family who joined us. Ocean reef and even the owner of the property was responsive to our needs. We had a very enjoyable time. Hope to return soon.

Carillon May 7-13 2023

We love Carillion but this property was in terrible shape. Not well maintained & certainly not high cleaning standards. Property Manager could not be reached as phone calls are a triage of nonsense. Not pleased with Ocean Reef Property Managers. They are to be avoided.
